This is a truly brilliant book. Two grandmasters telling funny stories from various ancient texts. It's pure genius.

I keep it on my night stand for a little light reading before I fall asleep at night. It is a great set of stories and inspirational pictures. I recommend it to anyone who is open to the Tao no matter what spiritual path they may be on.

This is a beautiful book with wonderful stories. I have read it through a few times and enjoyed it each time. I am sure I will read it again and again. The photos are WONDERFUL and the writing is excellent amazing.

I first discovered this as a gift from friends, and have since purchased copies to give as gifts myself. This is a delightful combination of short Taoist tales, simply retold, with stunning black and white photographs of some of the regions closely associated with the development of Taoism. A nice introduction to Taoist tales and background for anyone with a passing interest in Taoism, and an altogether pleasing production where the quality of binding and paper etc nicely matches the content, and all at a very reasonable price.
