GENUINE Frigidaire 807117001 Drain Hose

After replacing the drain pump and the main motor, checking the pipe drain, I finally replaced the actual hose and found that to be my drain issue. It’s model specific. Easy to replace and dishwasher functions as it should.If your dishwasher isn’t draining properly, and it’s years old, this may be the culprit and worry considering as the first step over a drain pump.

I tried to go to Lowe's and just get a replacement instead of just ordering the exact part off of Amazon.After like 2 hours of the most unhelpful Lowe's people, I came back with something far more expensive and not useful at all.Then I went to the dishwasher manual and ordered the exact part directly from Amazon.Way easier. Way better. Way smarter. Don't be like me. Order the correct part the first time.

I just bought a second one, this fits my brand new Toshiba portable A/c and my really old Frigidaire portable A/C

Fit perfectly, exact hose that came off my dishwasher. The two rubber fittings are glued onto each end, making it impossible to replace if the fittings ever wear out, which is what actually happened in my case. A much more user friendly design would have been to have a compression fitting or clamp fitting so that the rubber connectors could be replaced for about $4 instead of $30 for a new hose, and having to remove my dishwasher from my counter. An even better design would have been if my dishwasher had about 1/4 inch smaller drain fitting to fit just about every other replacement hose that is readily available in every home repair store around. Luckily amazon had a used hose for only $18, that I’m pretty sure was opened and just returned. This does fit kenmore dishwashers, I’m pretty sure the amazon listing had it marked as Maytag or whirlpool. They’re all the same just different name tags glued on.

This was a must buy for my used dishwasher than came missing this part. Unfortunately, this is NOT a generic size that could be picked up from a hardware store, so I had to buy this specifically for my machine. The quality is good though and I doubt I'll have to replace it. Because it was made for my dishwasher, it fit perfectly and snugly.If your machine needs this special part, don't waste time trying to find a generic part that will fit, juts get this one from the start. It'll save you from wasting a ton of time.
