The best I have ever had!
The best freaking zapper I have EVER had!! I am overwhelmingly happy. I feel like a professional tennis player, :) JK. I have had at least 10 of these types of zappers. I have a constant need. I have two amazon parrots for whom I cut fresh fruit and veges everyday. I have a constant fruit fly problem--all year around (I live in California). This zapper is amazing! I love it! I am more than pleased. I was worried about the zapper getting to the fruit flies because this one only has lines across and not criss-cross like I would have thought would work better (and like all the other ones I have purchased before). The fruit flies are significantly smaller than regular flies. Anyway, this is doing the trick! I love it. It feels substantial and not flimsy. I am elated. I did NOT receive anything to post this review...this is just my honest opinion.

We can enjoy our time outdoors
We were unable to sit on our front porch due to an abundance or carpenter bees. Bug sprays didn't work and left a lot of chemical smells. We were able to get rid of the bees with the bug zapper. No more carpenter bees. We can enjoy our time outdoors. The Bug Zapper works!!

It works great. The screen allows for the killing of both small and large bugs, not just small bugs like other brands.

Wake, Bake and Zap!
This is a ton of fun! Wake and bake then zap flies. Don't settle for cheaper models....this one is the best. Oh, fast delivery and great communication with the seller. I'll be back.

Watch Out Flies !!
This was a gift for my brother in law, But after un-wrapping we could not find any Flies, and after a few friendly pops between family members, it was put up until this week when to my surprise a big ol horse-fly started pestering me, well I new it was time to try it out. It did not disappoint, with a little pop he was gone. I was like a kid with a toy. I will be getting one of these for myself. seems well built and heavier than I thought it would be. Thanks

Great Zapper
Great racket for swatting indoor pests, which I probably enjoy a little more than I should. What used to be a nuisance is now an indoor sport! I was a little worried that the bars were too far apart to swat the little gnats I have buzzing around, but I've had no trouble at all. I also like the fact that the batteries are replaceable. I've thrown out 2 rechargeable rackets because the batteries failed after about 2 years of recharging.

While I want to love this product
I get it. You can’t have people walking around with a tennis racket capable of powering electronics. While I want to love this product, I settle for like. I can swing it around and zap the tiny annoying flies and mosquitos with glee. And for that purpose, it’s banner. But I was hoping to annihilate some yellow and black striped a-holes that relentlessly hover around my children’s playthings. Don’t worry, never bees. Excitedly, I shoved some batteries in it and went to work. Gnats? No more. Little flies? Gonezo. That first yellow jacket? Fell to the ground, stunned... and then started the “I’m going to make you sorry” super angry buzz while it righted itself on the ground. Um. Guys? So I have to zap it again? And... again? Omg it’s going to KILL ME WHAT DO I DO??? So I pinned the thing down, held the button, and waited for a minute. Still unsure of its demise, I left the swatter on top of it, quick dug a hole, balanced it on a stick, shoved it into the hole, and found a rock for on top. Praying for no zombie yellow jackets, that would be a real bad day. So what I’m saying is, this is a fine product for small annoying bugs. For large aggressive stinging insects? It’s best accompanied with a flamethrower. It causes more stress than it’s worth to me, unless I can dedicate a minute and some adrenaline to pin them down and make sure they won’t reanimate.

Quality bug zapping tool
This zapper is proof of why customer reviews really work. I was able to leverage someone else's experience with different types and brands of zappers (don't you love those corporate buzzwords!) into a one time successful buy of what is surely my favorite bug killing tool. I just found out that these things existed at a family reunion where I had to guard the buffet table against stray houseflies. The one my niece brought was a decent type from Walmart that she said cost twenty dollars or less. The PreciShock was more expensive than that, but I think I got the best option for me. My niece has little kids so the one she had featured a plastic grid over the zapping wires, but I don't need the grid; I want the killing wires as accessible as possible. I also wanted one that wouldn't have the battery compartment cover fall off and wouldn't fall to pieces with a little bit of careless banging around. Another feature I like is the one button activation (as opposed to two buttons to be pressed at once). This thing worked great on zapping the crap out of mosquitos on my front porch and also what we call mosquito hawks and even spiders hanging out around the garage. The mosquitos can't be seen usually, but they make very satisfying pops and sparks and sizzles when you wave it through the air and contact them. I did see a larger bug make a big zap but NOT get killed, so you get a chance to re-zap some bugs. This is not a bad thing so far. I recommend this swatter if you don't mind spending a few bucks more to get a better quality product.
