A Mom's Guide to Lies Girls Believe: And the Truth That Sets Them Free (Lies We Believe)

Enjoying going through this book with my daughter. Lots of applicable lessons.

As a first time foster parent, I searched for a tool to connect with the teen in my home. After registering for the masterpiece tour for both my girls, I stumbled upon Lies Girls Believe and the devotional just in time for week 1. We've transitioned from limited greetings and pleasantries to times of endless conversations. She's rebuilding relationships with her parents as she establishes God's truth about some of her sticky feelings. I in turn plant seeds I pray will last life long.I think this will be a useful tool for future young ladies God places in my care.Blessings Dannah and Nancy for planting seeds in the freshest soil of our young girls' hearts.

My daughters and I have been working our way through this book/Bible study. This has been a very influential study. Through this Bible study I feel like I was able to make some foundational connections with my daughters to let them know I am here to listen to them and help them. The Lies girls believe study also shows girls they can get answers straight from God’s Word for the lies they face in our world. The mom’s guide follows right along with the daughters guide. The mom’s guide has helpful discussion starters on the side.

I have been a Danna Gresh fan since before I had a daughter. My 11 year old daughter and I are participating in the Lies Girls Believe study currently and it is challenging both of us. My daughter loves her girls guide because it is simple to understand but not too babyish. It is very interactive and keeps her engaged every step of the way. It is full of scripture in a digestible way that has everyday application written all over it! The Mom’s Guide is the Girl’s book with extra background information about the topic being discussed in each chapter. There are statistics and opportunities to pray for your girl before she even reads the material. It has truly blessed my daughter and I.

My 13 year old daughter and I started this book last week. It has already proved to be a God send, every scenario are experiences she has endured in the very recent past and even today. I highly recommend this for a mother/daughter bible study. The author does a great job of taking the Lies Women Believe and interpreting at their level with their daily tribulations.
