I've had similar products over the years and the head moved up and down and side to side. The movement was also constant. I still am not able to adjust the head where it bobbles up and down. It seems to have a slight side to side motion, but that's about it. The screw that is used to adjust how much the head bubbles sits in one position and it doesn't increase or decrease in speed.

As I stated in another review talking about bobble heads, This is the one that kept sliding off the dash even though we had done everything we could think of without actually gluing it on the dash. This is the one that looked like it was hurriedly put together with the head-weight and finally broke the last time it fell and hit my wife's knee.We may get another to replace this one but not really sure if and when we will do it or just wait till the other one finally gives up and slides off too!
