Compelling
Another fantastic read from a man who is currently my favourite author. Trouble is I've run out of Andy Maslen books to read.

Thoroughly involving and thought provoking!
This is another excellent crime novel from this accomplished author, taking us out of London to Sweden, with excellent attention to detail and an involving and tense narrative. The lead character is both vulnerable and intimidating, superbly drawn and believable. Another great addition to a brilliant series of books!

Another fantastic Stella Cole book.
Stella Cole does it again or should that be Andy Maslen. A fantastic read from start to finish and what a finish I certainly didn't expect that. Whatever you do do not cross Stella or you will regret it. Just starting on the next book, Death Wears A Golden Cloak.I don't know how he manages to write so many great books The Gabriel Wolfe are a firm favourite, but he does, keep up the good work Andy you have overtaken Lee Child as my favourite author.

Totally engaging thriller
Once again Andy Maslen has woven his magic and delivered another fantastic instalment of the Stella Cole story.Once you step in to this book expect to be thrown in to a whirlwind of gruesome murder and internal strife ( when has that been different for Stella) and a permanent feeling of jeopardy. Whilst many of the characters are familiar from the previous books, they continue to grow and engage and you soon get immersed in the team at Paddington Green as they pursue their investigations. As usual the plot is multifaceted, fast and absorbing and in my opinion the best in the Stella Cole series to date.If you are looking for a high octane thriller this is definitely the book for you!

Another fantastic read
Andy Maslen has again accomplished a fantastic story. Lots of gasps as I turned each page. Will the ones high up ever let Stella get on with her life without her having to look over her shoulder, waiting for an assassin to strike her dead???Can't wait to read Book 6.5 ***** from this happy reader.
