Art3D Peel and Stick White Brick Mother of Pearl Tile sheets
This Mother of Pearl tile is beautiful. I did my entire backsplash in my large kitchen over the top of the existing granite tiles. I specifically chose peel and stick tile because removing the existing granite backsplash would have almost certainly caused major damage to the drywall behind it, requiring repairs to the wall. The granite was also very thick and did not think I could find a tile of equal thickness to replace it.The reason I am writing this review is to shed some light on the installation process. The adhesive backing is VERY sticky, which is a good thing, but you must be careful about positioning it right the first time. I found out the hard way if you stick it on wrong it is not coming off unless you ruin the entire sheet of tile. The best way is to remove a small amount of the backing, align and position it flush to the previous piece of tile, wall, etc, stick that part down and then carefully reach behind the tile and peel the rest of the backing off. As far as cutting the tile, it was all easy if I could manage to plan the tiles out so I could cut as many as possible on a horizontal line. In that case, you simply fold the tile over at the point you wish to cut it and use a utility knife to slice through the backing. Easy. However, I had to tile around a sloped range hood, electrical outlets, light switches and some cabinet molding. This was definitely not easy. I ended up marking the tiles and cutting them along the markings with a utility knife and then holding them over a sharp counter edge and trying to snap them off straight. If I had to make finer cuts I used a hand tool tile nippers. I'd say it worked great about 85% of the time and 15% of the time I had to get creative. I had to make a cardboard template for some of the more curved and sloping areas and then try to cut the tile on a diagonal. Very tedious, but I did it. The most important thing to note here is that in order to get a seamless finished look you WILL HAVE TO GROUT! As other reviewers have noted there are gaps between the tiles sheets no matter how careful you are to place them right. It can't be avoided. The good news is grouting it was very easy. A white, unsanded grout will easily fill in small gaps. I even had to use little tiny chips of tile to try and fill in some difficult areas, such as around the circular fitting to my pot filler. The tiles looked like a 1st grader did them, but once I grouted everything it looked perfect! Grout is a must and will help cover a lot of your mistakes. Even for as much work as my backsplash was I did it all by myself in a day and a half and I have never tiled before (although to be fair I'm pretty handy). So in summary:Pros1. Beautiful, natural material and very thin.2. Can apply over any smooth surface.3. Can be applied by a novice.4. Ordered 7 boxes of 6 sheets each and every single tile was perfect. No breaks or chips.Neutral:1. Must finish with unsanded grout, really not a big deal.Cons:1. Cuts can be challenging (not sure if a tile saw could be used due to adhesive backing, but if it could it would be a game changer).

Great Look - Consider tiles without mastic
These are beautiful tiles that arrived in perfect condition. These have a peel and stick backing that sticks tight to a clean surface. I chose the peel and stick over the type that require a mastic because I thought it would require fewer steps. After completing my project, I think it would have been easier to use a mastic and apply the tiles. That would have allowed more time to move and adjust the tiles. It would have also been much easier to do the cutting. You have to be very careful when applying because it is impossible to move them once they are in place. If you have to remove a sheet or partial sheet, the sticky portion remains and then you still need tile mastic to reuse the tiles. The tiles sit close to each other, but I they still need some grout or white filler between tiles to make them completely seamless. I used these on a fireplace front to cover tile that was not attractive. I used a dremmel with a special tile cutting blade to make the actual cuts on the shell. It worked perfectly if you do not have a tile saw.

Textured abalone shell tiles
This is amazing. Used this to tile a new RV kitchen. It looks incredible, took just minutes to put up each piece. It is a small kitchen so it took about 30 minutes all in all. It’s real abalone shell, so the texture is exactly as if it was tiled on there. I am looking for other places to use this. You do have to think about where you are going to finish off the edges of the tiles because this particular tile has a staggered edge since it’s a subway style pattern. If you use the full tile block the edges are straight, but you’ll see the pattern fills in the short ends in each row with one small square tile. If you use part of the sheet only you will see your edges are a staggered length. I had an extra sheet left so I took all the little edges where there was only so much room and each had a small square and i used those to fill in rows on the final project that weren’t even...although a staggered finished edge looks great too.

Frustrating But STUNNING!
The media could not be loaded. I can certainly verify this is an authentic mother of pearl (peel and stick).I would skip this and get the 6 pack at $90 with the uniform cubes. It would be so simple to cut to measure in any direction.Best of luck and set aside several hours to a few days for projects with this tile style.• I just finished my bathroom and it is extremely difficult to work with it cutting is involved.• The carpet knife did not cut the mother of pearl without muscle and breakage (like one reviewer suggested for cutting) and yet with caulk as another reviewer suggested because the look does not line up without it was brilliant.• The mother of pearl its self is very beautiful. There is a saying “with beauty comes suffering” and this could not be truer.• The adhesive is strong and will rip your paint right off if you make a mistake because it is not at easy to work with as other peel and stick.• This will take time and effort. Hire a contactor or if offered pay extra for professional installation.• In my picture you can compare the product to an Authentic mother of pearl candle stick. Yes, very real and very heavy and the pearl need professional equipment to cut.All and all 4 stars 🌟 for quality. -Minus one for difficulty. If the seller included a tool to cut the mother of pearl with ease everyone would rate 5 stars.

Stunning!
Absolutely beautiful! Arrived early with no damage. Very well packaged. Easy to install and seams were easy to cover with gloss white caulk. I had to cut through some of the tiles not on a natural line, but a $15 investment in a tile cutter attachment for my dremel made it easy and made clean cuts. It’s stunning!

Just awesome
Exactly what I needed and exactly as promised. Now, I need to find somewhere else to put more of them. I have received all kinds of compliments about my beautiful back-splash. I absolutely recommend it. It is pricey but worth it!
