This arrived assembled, and simply unfolded- you only have to attach the sunshade yourself, which is super easy, and the tools are included. It's basic and surprisingly light but feels sturdy and safe. The legs stay in place once opened and the back locks securely into place, with several height settings, and it can be laid completely flat too. The neck pillow, and the whole bed in fact, is super comfortable. The fabric is a simple layer of nylon, which is stitched around the frame- hopefully it's sufficiently durable but I haven't used it long enough to find out. It's waterproof, so handy for beside a pool. I weight about 9 stone and I'd be more worried about the durability if I were heavier. I'm 5'8" and this is way long enough for me to lay very comfortably on. The fabric isn't slippery or rough, but I would definitely put a towel over it. This is really good value compared to most of the loungers on the market. Probably won't last more than a few years of summer use, but does its job well in the meantime. What you see is what you get!
