My wife hand-makes custom bicycle frame bags. Many are attached to the bike frame using sewn loops with paracord around the tubes. But, some are attached to the bike frame with simple Velcro straps. There's always the possibility that the bags will be stuffed with heavy-weight items. And, when you add to that the constant vibrations experienced when riding, a strong strap connection becomes absolutely vital. Paracord and sewn loops won't give, but weak Velcro could. This Velcro is thin - that's a good thing. The fuzzy side is very soft and won't harm bicycle paint jobs. Most importantly, the grip is very strong. It's easy to cut with scissors, and it won't fray. And, IMHO, when you buy Velcro brand, the company that invented this miracle stuff, you know you're getting quality. I can't say the same for some of the other brands. For an almost endless list of possible uses, this Velcro will do the job for you.

Bought a 4 ft roll since I had a unique case where it had to come in handy. I have a WeatherTech seat protector for the back row bench seating for my car. It has sewn-in Velcro straps to loop onto the child seat fasteners behind the headrests. However those straps alone were too short to loop properly, to where the loops would easily come undone when people sat in the back; obviously not their fault. With some scissors and a couple of minutes I was able to attach the new strap to the sewn on loop with enough room for it not to come undone. A true problem solver - what would we do without Velcro?
