Windstorm Whistle, Black

This product is just as described. Arrived quickly via the USPS. This whistle is small, but mighty and sure to be heard from a great distance. The videos attached to the product were helpful. Refer to them for accurate expectations of size, sound, and quality.

Bought this after owning a Storm for many years. Was doubtful of the performance of a redesign but it is exceptional. Whistle is easy to blow - loud - and distinct being a pea style whistle. Belongs on all life jackets! Will use this whistle now on the water and in the backcountry. 5 Stars.

Being able to blow a whistle when danger appears is a blessing. I have heard of people being too scared to call for help, or losing their voice before help arrives. A whistle like this makes it possible to keep sending out the signal without risk to voice or weather.

This is a great whistle with a clean sound that I use on a regular basis for my job. I work on a flightline and am involved with towing aircraft and bought this whistle after noticing that almost everyone else uses this same one. The design of it also helps to direct the sound of the whistle directly at where ever you're looking.

I like the whistle, the Windstorm, and it's pretty loud, nice sound too, but you've got to hold it right-side-up for the pea to engage for the traditional warble sound. When I mistakenly hold it wrong, it's not the ideal sound, but a breathy high-pitched sort-of-whistle sound. I've experimented with a few of the best whistles over the last few weeks, and the winner is the Fox 40 so far. It's smaller than the Windstorm (suprisingly) and considerably louder, to the point of making my ears ring. So in that way, the not-quite-as-loud report of the Windstorm is a bit more comfy to experience for the blower, but for maximum hear-above-all-other-sound the Fox 40 Sonic Blaster is the current winner. I just know I'm gonna end up with a drawer full of whistles, and well, maybe it's not a bad thing to collect.

We bought this whistle for each person in our family. Like it so well that we are buying more for for others. A great emergency whistle to have with you for camping, backpacking etc. Love the personal touch of a little note from Wright Health Products.

This is a screamer, warning whistle and it's great for that. Silly me, I was thinking it would sound like the wind since that's what I was searching for.
