## Description

The original elastic bonding adhesive, Sikaflex-252 offers great adhesive strength coupled with elasticity. This combination bonds and seals at the same time, offers excellent gap filling capabilities and compensates for loose tolerances in the building process. Strong enough to hold sharply reduce or even completely eliminate traditional fastening systems such as weld, rivets, screw and bolts. Excellent Green Strength means reduced clamping time. Bonds to a wide variety of substrates. Some surface prep is generally recommended. Sandable, paintable and NSF approved for incidental food contact. 10 oz. tube. White.

Review: Great for Aliner Bubble window adhesive - I picked up both the 252 and the 715 for my Aliner back in 2024, everything is still holding strong with zero leaks. I used the 252 as the main adhesive to bond my replacement dome window down, and used the 715 to seal up all the roof vents and corner seams. The previous owner used silicone caulk, so I took the time to scrape down to bare metal with a razor blade. I then gave the whole area a good wipe down with acetone. (yes this removed some paint, but the Sikaflex covered all of the metal) Both products laid down nicely, cured solid, and have taken a beating from the weather without any issues. Highly recommend both if you're working on an old Aliner

**Q: Does this tube come with an application nozzle?**
A: Although the ad showed that it comes with a nozzle, the ones I received did not. I had to contact Sikaflex directly and they sent me a number of nozzles. Sikaflex was great, the supplier on Amazon was not !

**Q: Will this bond to a rubber roof on an rv? Need to glue down some solar panel mounts.**
A: Hi there, I also have a rubber roof on my challenger,what I did to be sure my panels didn' fly off on the freeway was remove the rubber coating  where I wanted to place the glue-on mounts. I  felt that if the panels had enough lift under them that  the mounts would pull the rubber off & see ya later! I also sscrewed down the corner mounts  & sealed the holes. I read about a guy who lost his panels on the freeway , what  a mess he got in. So use sound judgment & over-kill won't hurt a thing.

**Q: Mounting flex solarpannels to van roof, suggested product in your line must be able to adhere what apears pvc plastic to painted metel roof of van?**
A: Not sure of your question exactly... But.... I used it on a houseboat roof to adhere metal clips for solar panels.. It is really strong stuff! It has withheld the winter with strong winds and heavy rains... It sticks to EVERYTHING !

**Q: Would this work to bond plastic brackets for a small solar panel to my shingle roof?**
A: NO, I used it on Renogy plastic brackets and wiring gland and it let go

I picked up both the 252 and the 715 for my Aliner back in 2024, everything is still holding strong with zero leaks.
