The book is written in simple English language without any fancy presentation of vocabulary which makes it an easy task to grasp the meaning behind the words. The book is compiled letters of a father to his teenage daughter, who finds it difficult to connect to her because of his field duty in the military. Though the author has been very successful in his career, he finds it challenging to communicate with his adolescent daughter and give guidance on her endeavors. The author has been very frank in communicating his thought process. My personal favorite among all the pieces of wisdom was a letter he wrote to the daughter of his late friend on Marriage, which is a master piece. I feel that in contemporary times All Girls who are going to get married should certainly read it. The author has been compassionate throughout all his letters and words touch your heart. The only flaw I could find out was the typing errors that were present at various places.

It is only when one becomes a parent that you begin to understand n appreciate your own.Reading this simple heartwarming story of a father's attempt at communicating with his daughter and also trying to make sense of his own hard life n struggles makes for very emotional reading.Very honest.looking forward to its sequel Does Pihu listen to her father's counsel or she charts her own destiny??

A must read price of work. Forces kids have a different life of that of a normal kid and what he or she goes through there teenage years . This book is a perfect guide for children as well as their parents to connect with each other through the most exhausting phase,i.e, adolescent. It is also possible that the latter come out to have a strong bond with their children.

It's a book for that lazy Sunday which will bring tears to your eyes alongwith a feeling of happiness. Wonderful read
