This trap catches good but once the bait is gone, the crabs try to get out. Checking the trap every day or two, and getting the crabs out is a must. Rob Smith also sells holder cages on here to keep your crabs in.

We have been crabbing for many years and had much success with traps off the dock. There water 2 different crabs in this trap at different times but not there when we checked again. We even crimped the entrance more and no success

High quality, good product, very well made. Most likely this thing will ship by truck, train, or ship b/c it kind of big and fragile. Pay more for the shipping if you want it fast.

Didn’t catch a single crab. Had better luck with a chicken neck on a string but when we tried to store the crabs in the trap until we had enough to eat, the crabs actually escaped from the trap. And the crabs were fairly large too.
