Nice Variety
This is an easy to understand book with good pictures that are easy to follow. Does not have a lot of the extras that are included in other books, this one gets down to business. Easy to use and lots of variety to keep things interesting and work your whole body with minimum equipment.

Useful guide
I am interested in Calisthenics and my friend recommended me this guide. This book contains body weight exercises that literally work out muscles on our entire body giving us enviable chiseled look. These exercises can be done anywhere without the need for gym membership or expensive exercise equipment. The colour photographs make the instructions to the exercises more understandable and easier. I found this guide very informative and useful. It is well written and easy to understand. I liked this book very much and I am glad to have it on my Kindle to use when I need it. I highly recommend this book for those who want to be fit and to have a chic figure.

Pictures great, but lost the plot
I liked the layout of the book and the directions are clear and easy to understand, especially with the picture(s) to guide you.The book is broken up to 3 sections:Chapter 1: push-ups, pull-ups, and squatsChapter 2: dips, raises and lungesChapter 3: crunches, alternatives to deadlifts and other exercisesChapter 3 also includes stretches, which I feel could be its own chapter.Mostly what I find lacking is the exercises don’t seem to be laid out in order of skill level or ability. They also aren’t labeled as beginner, intermediate and advanced. They’re all kind of thrown in together so a beginner would have to do extra research into figuring out where to start.I also feel the bonus chapter about finding a ‘chic style’ for working out was out of blue and not helpful. I would have rather gotten more ideas for creating a work out plan and tips, especially since it says on the front of the book, ‘definitive guide to bodyweight training’.

Build muscle using your own bodyweight instead of gym equipment.
Great book! I'm new to calisthenics and I found this to be not only a good introduction, but also something that might be useful to those who have been doing it for a while and are just looking for some different exercises to try (this book has 80 of them, after all). Each page describes a different exercise and also has photos to show how it's done. The photos are clear and the descriptions are easy to understand. Not sure what more you could ask for in a book of this type... I have absolutely no complaints.

Shame
A real shame. Very little detail on each exercise and if you have any kind of basic understanding of body weight exercises you will find nothing new here. Old feel to it. Multiple typos. Was expecting more.

A great help!
This is a very helpful guide towards bodyweight training to receive an attractive physique without heavy weight lifting. Using Calisthenics, you will be focusing on building your muscles even without weights available. In this book you will find exercises to work out muscles on your entire body. Very well researched and well written

A waste of paper.
What we have here is something useless and, if you're a total beginner, potentially dangerous. Just for example: muscle ups are explained in five lines and three pictures. Seriously? But, hey, we have neck extensions (more or less the same lines of explanation ad two photos) and some other "exercises" that should be put in a "80+ guide to something". Methods? The author recommends sets of eight repetitions as "ideal". WOW.Looking at the price, I already knew I couldn't get a guide to advanced calisthenics or so (I read the other reviews, anyway), but this goes beyond my worst expectations. It was meant to be an extra gift for a friend's birthday but it will help me start a fire in my chimney: all I have to do is to be patient and wait for the next winter.
