kit (x4 Pack) Repair Broken Drawers Quickly & Easily, Reinforce/Strengthen Drawers, mend Broken Drawers

I saw a youtube video on this product and thought to give it a try because my dresser is solid wood and it would be a waste to throw it away. It was very easy to install, I did not need a drill, and it was fairly quick (an hour or less to install all four). I suggest measuring it out (put the product together and put it in the section you would be using it on) then screwing in the smaller bracket first. Search for it on youtube and watch the video. The instructions are very easy to follow. The only problem I had is that I wished there were more in each pack...Maybe a six pack would be better. I used two on one drawer because it holds a lot and was sagging badly, and I used one each on two other drawers. I have two more drawer that didn't need it and they work well. I might end up buying another one for the last drawer I have that's sagging a little but still usable. Definitely worth the time and money, and you save a perfectly good dresser.

I did a 6 drawer dresser with these, I had been looking to replace the dresser because a couple of the pull handles had broken and the sag made it impossible to sort the drawers or even close them. I found a few solutions for fixing the sagging drawers on youtube, and this one seemed the best forever solution. I used them on all of the drawers and replaced the handles and its not new, but this dresser works like new. Such a relief to not only solve the problem, but to have a working dresser and I didn't have to pay to replace it.

I was expecting a hard material for some reason (I mean there's no mention of how long said material would reach, so I'm not sure my logic since I didn't measure my drawers, lol). But they work fine. Install was a PITA without predrilled holes to guide through, but I managed and they're working.

I wish I had looked for something to fix the drawers sooner, but it never occurred to me that I could do anything about the stupid things until I looked on youtube, and saw a man showing off how to fix them with this product. It looked really easy so I rushed to amazon and bought it. It came today and after a couple hours all four drawers are now fixed. I can't speak for the longevity since I just did it, but the instructions were clear and easy to understand. All the pieces were there, enough to fix four drawers, and the strap was extra long so it should work on any drawer. I get very nervous about home repair stuff but I had no trouble with this at all.The drawers now slide and in and out easily and it seems pretty sturdy. I'm not sure if the strap material will stretch after a while but right now I'm really happy with it.

I have three drawers that required support and based on the positive reviews I thought this is a no brainer. The idea behind this product is pretty simple and in theory good, but after trying to install one I realIzed I’d end up with two very sharp metal brackets on the bottom of the drawer and its a cutting hazard. Since my drawers are three high this concerns be.I ended up just sue the screws that came with the set and screwed in the bottom of the drawer in place. So I paid $15 for 9 screws. Haha.

These are a pain (literally and physically) to install but they are holding up so far. The pieces come in a bag and it seems like you wasted your money.. there are flimsy plastic strips and brackets and screws. Unlike assembling a piece of furniture, you are not screwing into pilot holes. Because of the angle needed to get the best support, using a drill is possible but difficult. It took multiple tries for me to get in either bracket on each drawer (think: this will take me an hour instead of 15 min) and left me with a few cuts and bruises along the way.This solution is cheap (ish) but not easy. My repair was done on the tall Ikea Hemnes dresser.

I had a drawer in an old Sauder bureau that was totally bottoming out... I had tried gorilla taping the bottom in place but that only lasted for a day and then the bottom dropped again. I wasn’t really too sure this kit would help my situation because the condition of my drawer was so bad... it was really buckled and the bottom just wouldn’t stay in.It took me a bit to figure out how to thread the strap best and I needed to put objects on the drawer to keep it down/flat while I screwed the pieces in but so far I’m happy with how things turned out.I ended up using all 4 straps on this one drawer because like I said, it was really bad. To be honest if this kit came with 5 I would’ve used 5... the drawer looked fine with 3 but I felt like using more wouldn’t hurt and hopefully would reduce stress on each strap.I think if I get a new bureau I might just put these on before anything buckles and I’m actually thinking about getting some more to reinforce my other drawers now. I’m really hoping these straps hold up for a while because I’m not interested in buying new furniture right now.

I bought this product to repair a "sagging drawer bottom". I was able to accomplish this feat (and I am not an avid DIYer) in only a few minutes. My main advice is to go to You Tube and look for repair of sagging dresser drawers. There are several productions, and a few even refer to this kit. It was very helpful. Since I am a belt and suspenders guy, I also then laid down a bead of wood glue around the edges of the bottom. Will wait and see, but I do believe that the product did deliver as promised. I still have another repair set available, and will probably need on another drawer

Works LIKE A DREAM!!I was getting so sick of the bottoms of my IKEA drawers falling out and having to pull the entire drawer out of the dresser, take all the contents out, reseat the base, smash it back into place and put away all my clothing again and again. This drawer kit is the answer! I will never hesitate to buy IKEA drawers again but I will always be ordering a set of these if I ever do!!!I've had these installed for months and I keep loading up my drawers with stuff and they're sturdy as hell. Went through a move and they held up!Do yourself a favor and read the directions two or three times first though. I kept putting the plastic cord in wrong and had to redo it a few times before I got it right.
