Pan Pastels - Smooth, Creamy Pastel Medium
Artist Kirsty Rebecca put together this group of 20 pan pastel colors based on her experience as a professional artist. One can "paint" portraits, landscapes and wildlife with this collection of colors, and I feel that it is a comprehensive beginner set. I love this medium as it reminds me of a time when I used to paint in acrylics. Pan pastels blend beautifully, the creamy consistency glides on paper with some tooth (if you wish to layer color). It is a forgiving medium as well, easily erased with a gum eraser. I have been having so much fun with this set. It is a quick way of laying down a base coat on coloring pages, and pictures can be given detail with pastel pencils or colored pencils. A wonderful option for expressing creativity! Love, love!

Arrived earlier then I expected. No broken pans and quality packaging. The pigment is vibrant and the pastels are smooth. Love them.

Excited To Learn PanPastels
Signed up for an online drawing & sketching art class using all different mediums spread out over a period of a year and decided to buy some Panpastels after watching this artists YouTube videos. The kit arrived today and was beautifully packed, no broken pans and colors look great. Excited to follow along with some of her videos and use in my art class also!
