I usually find it hard to drink protein shakes, their taste is usually off. This one tastes like chocolate milk, but not too sweet. It’s easy to drink, has good nutritional content, and has excellent macros. The caffeine boost is so amazing, and it’s replaced my morning coffee. I’ve been drinking 3-5 a week for over a month now, and I’m still not tired of them! I do wish there were more flavors with the caffeine though!

This nutrition drink is my "crack"! The milk chocolate with a little caffeine is my healthy start to every day. I often drink 2 or 3 per day and would drink more if it wasn't over-doing it. Low ccalories, high protein, 1 gram sugar, a literal power-packed multi-vitamin/mineral supplement in a luscious drink. I buy 8 or 10 cases at a time. The only negative is that it's a bit expensive whenhaving more than one per day. I wish Ensure offered a senior discount. Definitely buy this, but be careful to not become addicted, as I have!

I bought these for health reasons, protein vitamins and health. I had water, too much to put in just one drink or serving.

Most of the "Nutrition Shakes" are far from truly healthy. They contain a shocking amount of sugar and carbs. The ones that are low sugar often taste like chemicals. The Ensure Max Protein shakes deliver on the low sugar high protein promise. The taste is better than most, and it's not bad, but you wanna drink this over ice.... or... like I did... as coffee creamer. I make cold brew coffee with a half gallon mason jar and a stainless steel cylindrical filter and it comes out rather strong. I usually dilute it with milk and creamer. I saw someone using a nutrition drink as a creamer... I tried it but the taste was pretty bad so I started trying different nutrition shakes and found this one. It's a great way to mix your morning coffee with some real nutrition so you're not getting empty calories. Low sugar and high protein morning coffee shake. Ordering it via the Amazon automatic reordering saves some money. It's great for those mornings where you are running late and don't have time for a real breakfast... this will fill you up and the protein will keep you from the sugar / caffeine crash. Highly recommended.
