Are these ok for small dogs including puppies? My dog is 2 lbs and 10 oz.

I've used these on a chihuahua all the way up to my 95lb boxer/terrier and my 70lb white shepherd akita (and everything in between).I will say that puppy nails are harder because they are so soft, but as long as your clippers are sharp and not old you will be fine. Make sure you have the quick stop blood powder around. I've been doing my dogs nails for over 15 years, and just yesterday even I got a small bleeder. It can happen any time so have it around too.Edited to add this after reading IrishCookies' response.I wholeheartedly DISagree. My sister is a vet technician (over 15 years experience), and she is the one that turned me on to these. She uses them for any dog she cuts nails on...ANY dog. She keeps a pair in her scrubs so she has them at all times, and the only problem she's ever had is when the dull faster since she uses them so much.
