Simpson M30DMC Helmet

So, everything about this helmet is great….it’s light, fits nice, super stylish, feels safe, but, at the price point? I feel like it’s lacking a couple things in comparison to carbon helmets in the same price range or cheaper, literally 2 things that I don’t like:1. The shield isn’t quick change. You have to use a flat-head screwdriver to remove the PLASTIC fasteners that holds the shield on.2. The strap doesn’t even have a button to fasten the excess strap once you tighten it through the d-loops. No, instead, Simpson decided to use a cheap rubber o-ring to route the excess strap through…..Both of these features are something COMMON on helmets that are cheaper or in the same price range, and I honestly don’t understand why they skimped. Yeah, the shield I can get past, but, the excess strap retention just boggles my mind, to be honest

This was a Gift, and supposedly a replica of his first helmet. He was thrilled and will use when this snow finally disappears!
