The best thing I bought for my surgery
I just recently had surgery for breast cancer and had a breast reduction at the same time. This has been my favorite purchase in preparation for that. The pillow is super snuggly, soft, warm (without being overly warm), one of my favorite colors, and extremely practical. I brought it with me to the hospital for the ride home- for it to cushion against the seatbelt, but I ended up having to stay overnight for observation. Having this as I was propped up in bed was comforting and it ended up being nice support for my arms and hands as I tried to sleep in a sitting position. The pocket in front was perfect for my phone and a lip balm. And since I had no drainage ports, I used the I side pockets for my throat-soothing cough drops. The shoulder straps seem a bit on the short side for me, and I wish they were adjustable, but the back strap is adjustable and helpful despite needing help to click it on and off.All of the nurses and doctors who came in had never seen anything like this before and were very curious as well as impressed. They thought it was a great idea and wondered where I found such a thing. I'm glad Amazon led me down a rabbit hole of suggestions close to other items I was buying for after my surgery (such as zip-up tops) or else I wouldn't have even thought to buy it.While this is perfect cushioning and comforting protection for after my surgery, I know I'll also use it plenty afterward, too, just because it is so incredibly soft with convenient pockets. It isn't washable, but you can likely spot clean the surface. If you plan to have breast surgery or have a friend who is, this is a great product. It would certainly make for a thoughtful, practical, and unique gift.

I love my mastectomy pillow
I recently had breast surgery. I got the mastectomy pillow ahead of time, and I'm glad I did. I wish I would've had it when I had my mastectomy 15 years ago. But I'm glad I have it now. The pillow keeps me more comfortable when sitting on the couch and sleeping in bed. It also protects my surgery area from the cats when they walk all over me. My phone fits in the center pocket, and the inner pockets were nice for putting ice packs in after the surgery. The elastic straps could use improvement. I would have designed them differently. It is nice that it clasps in the back to keep the pillow from slipping, but the shoulder straps don't stay on my shoulders. But that's just a minor inconvenience. I really like the pillow.

Best fitting mastectomy pillow
I ordered this one, JELDA, and and MAYOAMA mastectomy pillows off Amazon and tried all three for sizing and comfort in preparation for my surgery. This is the only one that felt like it fit my body (5’2” 125 lbs) and was secure. It has a zipper on the bottom to add or take out stuffing, the cover is soft, and the arm straps stay on throughout movement even when not buckled. This was important to me because I am not always going to have someone around me to buckle and unbuckle my pillow. I 100% believe this is the best quality and will be using it for the next 3 months post op.

Useful! Could use a few design tweaks
This was a useful item for reduction surgery recovery. Good things were the pockets, softness, and portability. The two interior side pockets were perfect for ice packs. Front pocket can hold your phone or remote. It was helpful in the car to keep the seatbelt from touching the area. When using it around the house, it held my arms out from my sides where stitches were. The design could be tweaked a bit, it’s really only wide enough for a very petite/ narrow person, and the arm straps need to be stretchier, longer; and/ or adjustable. An inside pocket in the middle portion would also be ideal for another ice pack. It could do with a tad less stuffing. Overall, this was a good purchase and came in handy.

This is your best friend after mastectomy
I really like the fact that the pillow was so soft and had pockets for your phone and the Drains . Don’t hesitate, buy it and you won’t regret it . I’m so glad I ordered it for my surgery, it really help me recover faster. Everyone loves it , even the nurses at the hospital loved it too.

great for my top surgery
Had top surgery and got this in prep for the car ride home from the hospital. The nurses were all very impressed and thought it was genius to protect my new chest from the seatbelt in the car. While i didn’t use the icepack pockets (doctors didn’t recommend ice for me), but i’m sure that would be helpful to someone else. The shoulder straps were sadly not adjustable which was SUPER annoying so we cut them and would pin them where i needed them. The front pocket was fun, I put capri sun pouches in it and just drank from the pouch pocket while recovering hahah. The kitten fit inside it too so sometimes he would snuggle in the front pocket.i slept in this for 8 weeks to protect my chest from my cats in my sleep lol. all around highly recommend for anyone getting top surgery

Great Pillow for reduction surgery
This pillow literally has been a life saver after my surgery. I recently had breast reduction surgery and this pillow is everything. It’s soft very comfortable my only complaint is it should be more adjustable. I would definitely recommend.

Looks soft and nice - but not washable
Came in tight and clean packaging, looks soft, convenient design, handy pockets and cushy - but - I cannot use/wear anything without laundering it first. There are NO materials or care tags. Not washable - seems very odd for a product like this. My mistake, thought I had checked product descriptions carefully. Perhaps not an issue for you.
