Excellent
A book can always teach us something we don't know. I enjoyed this book.

Excellent Information
My youngest daughter turned me on to this book. The author has included quite a bit of excellent info from different sources that can assist the reader with improving her/his life. Some of the info was questionable, primarily because as a practicing astrologer, Tarot reader and Certified Crystal Practioner/Reader, there is some information that goes against what I was taught. For instance, I wouldn't cleanse crystals in salt water. EVER. Many crystals/rocks are made of porous materials that disintegrate easily. Best bet is to wash them in Spring or filtered water, and even then some gemologists might have a problem with that. So leaving them to sit in the Sun or Moonlight is usually sufficient. Hank Mason doesn't. And since he's a certified expert, I tend to take his word as pretty near gospel. But overall, an excellent book! Thank you for your contribution. :-)

Mall Goth Wicca 101
This book is your everyday Wicca 101 book but with a sort of mall goth style to it. The spells are good and the recipes look interesting to try, but for the seasoned practitioner there is really nothing new here and goes over the same sort of material found in other books just in more of a gothic way. The mythology section had some spirits that were unfamiliar to me so I give it credit for that, however in a book about dark witchcraft I would have liked to see more death gods/spirits and baneful entities listed just for reference sake if nothing else.Would have given it 4 stars for being what it is - a Wicca 101 book - but it got knocked down a star for propagating the "burning times" myth ~ that thousands of pagans were killed during the reformation and counter-reformation days rather than different factions of Christians killing each other, and for confusing the Archangels Michael and Gabriel - just to set the record straight Gabriel was the angel to visit the Virgin Mary and later Mohammed not Michael. The Goth wiccan garden section is sort of cool so the book has it's moments but I really can't recommend it for anybody already past the basics. For a beginner though, especially those of whom lean towards or are part of the goth subculture, I say its worth a read. Really wish there were half stars to give it a 3.5/5
