Fantastic product that is much better than Paraffin Wax and easy to use instead
Paraffin waxes are a thing of the past, this product is excellent and definately better by far. I love it. Melting point is 45 to 55 °C and the pouring point is 50 to 70°C. It is easy to colour using mica dyes and easy to scent with essential oils and other soy compatible scents and dyes. The candles burn longer and definately cleaner than paraffin based candles. The wax is easy to mold and shape (including carving/sculpting) fantastic value for money and the pellets are tiny and easy to use. Highly recommended, Andrew

Great quality wax, ideal for home made candles.
This is a great quality soy wax, which arrives in a 4kg bag. It has a very mild wax aroma and is plain white, so it is ideal for adding your own scents and colours, in order to create your own home made candles. The soy wax has a slower cleaner burn and is ideal for candles in a container. It melts down well and sets perfectly. It is quite an expensive wax, but great quality.

Perfect for greenhouse candles
With us now into winter I've been busy preparing candles to provide some heat in the Spring to keep the frost away when the veggies are ready to move into the greenhouse. It's important that I have wax that burns very cleanly and without scent so these pellets have been perfect. I've been reusing old Yankee candle glass containers and smaller tins so this 4KG bag has gone a long way. For measuring I've filled the container with pellets and then added another 1/4 to 1/3 as this still leaves a space between the wax and the top of the container. When melting the pellets I've just had them on a low heat so it has melted quite evenly without getting bubbly or burning. Setting time I'd say varies depending on the container being used but it's usually around 2 hours.

Good quality wax
This is good quality wax and at this size bag you’ll be making lots of nice container candles. It’s a bit more expensive than some others but I believe this brand is worth the little extra. It’s better to use soy rather paraffin wax where you can.PROS:- Soy wax is natural and sustainable, whereas paraffin wax is fossil fuel based- Soy wax will wash out of clothes, soft furnishings and the candle container with just soap and water, paraffin wax needs chemical treatment to remove.- Soy wax burns cleaner and almost soot freeCONS:- soy wax burns at a lower temperature so although great for container candles, it’s not suitable for pillar candles.- because of the lower burning temperature soy candles don’t give off as much scentLots of people seem unsure of the amount of wax to use for their container, here’s a quick way of working it out:- fill your container to the top with water, then tip the water into a measuring jug- round the amount to the nearest 10ml (so for example 86ml rounds up to 90ml)- multiply this amount by 0.77 (that’s what the calculator on your phone is for 😉), this gives you the amount in grams of soy wax to use leaving a bit of room at the top of the container.

Well, Christmas is coming...
Well, Christmas is coming and I'm exactly the sort of person who thinks they know all the people in their life and then, it comes to Christmas, and my mind goes blank. The easiest option, and usually a fairly pricey one, is candles. Everyone likes candles. None of us is immune to the power going out and it's always good to have a candle handy. I'm also the sort of person who thinks that sometimes, a handmade gift is more special. Sometimes, it's the cheaper option, of course, but I plan to make candles for Christmas presents. And I've got the right stuff now. Which is why you're reading this. This is a massive pack - I don't know what I was picturing in my head as 4kg but I didn't realise there'd be this much - of soy wax pellets. A quick internet search will tell you that soy wax burns more cleanly than other materials and carries scent pretty readily. The pellets are small and therefore easy to melt and use. And, for the money, I think I've got a fair few Christmas presents ready to be melted. An excellent product.Recommended.

Plenty.
My sister has recently become interested in candle making, and was currently searching amazon for kits and all the components she would need. The most important of those, is obviously the wax. She didn't know which particular type to choose, but when I got the chance to review a bag of soy wax it answered that conundrum for us. This 4kg bag is far bigger than we imagined it would be. The bag is enormous and there is certainly more than enough to keep my sister going for a while. The wax comes as small creamy coloured pellets ready to be melted down to create candle creations. once mixed with mica powder the colour can be changed and scents can be added. The possibilities are endless with this, and my sister can't wait to get started. This wax is high quality and exactly what she was searching for. If you are searching for a large quantity of wax, then this is the way to go. It is somewhat costly, but with the vast amount you receive you may not need to buy any more for a while, so it may work out cheaper in the long run.
