And my heart!!!Take a Hint, Dani Brown is a story about Danika who is an ambitious, driven, and kind of a workaholic woman who thinks she has absolutely no time or mental space for a romantic relationship, but definitely wants sex, and Zafir who is a former Rugby player now turned security guard and is a hopeless romantic. One day there’s a fire drill in their building and Dani gets stuck in a lift. That’s where Zaf comes to the rescue. This rescue gets recorded and the video goes viral and that is where their story kicks up.This book is just perfect <b>chef’s kiss!</b>The story flew beautifully, the characters were absolutely enjoyable, I loved the love and the bond that both our main characters shared with their families and I am so happy that all the characters in this book were developed so beautifully. The chemistry and more importantly, the friendship between Dani and Zaf is absolutely adorable and made my heart all mushy and warm. Zaf is such an amazing character, a perfect book boyfriend, if you ask me. Oh! And the writing is immaculate! Just sooo good. I enjoyed every single word the author wrote and at times I found myself stopping just so I could enjoy my laughter at the banter. Needless to say, I enjoyed every bit of this book. An amazing job Talia Hibbert! ❤️Can't wait for the next Brown sister's story!

I needed something light hearted so picked up this Rom Com cause I enjoyed the 1st book in the series as well. Due to extenuating circumstances, Danika & Zafir end up fake Dating each other as #DoctorRugbae goes viral. The fake dating trope gave much to be excited for but I didn't get how the 2 characters, Dani & Zafir, modified it but I was like, well OK, I did sign up for the steaminess 👀.This had a strong start but in the last part, it just stagnated & became repetitive. I absolutely enjoy starting with a smart, sassy, sexy and confident Dani, who knows what she wants in life and isn't afraid to go after it+ she makes great jokes. Her playful banter with Zafir, a lover of romance novels, felt so effortless. I'd a grin on my face for the initial part but by the end, I just wanted them to wrap up their issues & feelings, which they kept repeating, especially Dani. Like we got it already! It does touches upon quite a few important topics though: toxic masculinity, mental health of males, problems career oriented women face & grief.Points for diversity 👌🏻.

Talia Hibbert is ripping my soul apart and sewing it together with strands of Gold. This series makes me laugh, cry, and get heated. Thank you, Talia, for changing my world with words.
