Q: When I took my waterpik out of the package it had a glob of gel on the prongs where you plug in the charger. Is this normal?

I'm not sure it's 'normal', but just wipe it off and plug it in. If it works, fine. If it doesn't send it back.

Q: How easy is it to refill with water? My right is disabled and I need to be able to refill one handed.

if you find a cup size to hold it in secure with velcro....or screws and bracket in wall to hold where you can use other hand only to refill with one hand.....my elbows go out...and both..so I know how you feel..if one went out i would have a bracket to hold it on wall where you need it...velcro and cup is a fast fix

I have had this flosser Before the 1st use, you do need to charge it the amount of time the written instructions tell you. Then, according to the company (I called them after mine quit working), it MUST be charged each time you use it 7 times, not once a week. The written instructions are wrong and need to be corrected.
