Sony D-E350 Portable CD Player

I debated awhile trying to decide if I wanted a red CD player I finally decided to go with the red which was the only color offered. The CD arrived almost a week and half ahead of the time I was promised which was great. I love the color of this CD player which is a nice almost iridescent red it is such a change from all the black or silver CD players I've purchased in the past. So far the CD player plays great, the sound is great so far everything appears to be working as it should. It even starts up where it left when you turn it off. It plays all the music CD's I downloaded off my computer. I'm extremely happy with this purchase and I hope it plays for many years problem free. The last used CD player I purchased from Amazon about 5 years ago is still working great but I thought I'd better get a back up just in case the other one decides to retire itself.

I assumed the walkman would come with decent headphones as in the advert. They sent extremely poor quality ear phones and they did not even work! Really cheap, bright green plastic, very unattractive. I threw out the ear phones and bought some better ones.At first,the Player kind of played erratically, but after some "cleaning" it is working much better. The sound is fine. I have no idea how long it will work and that kind of worries me. I was looking for a bargain, but next time I will buy a new one.

I gave it a 4 only because I am hearing impaired and I wanted it to listen to a cd at night to help me go to sleep. I suffer from insomnia. I could not hear the cd that well and the ear-buds were uncomfortable as I sleep on my side. I purchased it used and it came with new ear-buds. It was like brand new. I sent it back only because of the above reasons.

Arrived without headphones. Battery door was broken and had been held in place by tape. Tape had been removed but residue remained. After I purchased headphones and re-taped the battery door, unit functioned ok.

the one I purchased was used. For future buyers, purchase new and un-opened CD players that can be found online or in electronic stores

Love this little walkman. Bought to replace one I had for years that finally broke after I dropped it on the tile floor several times. It has all the functions I need, Start, stop, pause, go back, volume. My favorite color. I made a sling to wear it while I do my chores. I bought a second one to keep in the drawer in case this one ever breaks. I get lots of cds at the library.

The CD player arrived in good condition and quickly. I put some batteries in to test it, and it did work. My intent is to put in the drawer for when my current Sony finally goes kaput, I have dropped it more times than the New Year's Eve ball in Times Square. Thank you.

It works fine, but the picture of the item was misleading as there were no headphones included, just the player.
