This book is beautiful and informative. It thoroughly details shark anatomy, front and back. My 7 year old loves it. I'm pre med and I wish I had books this good.

A must have for shark fans - young and old! well-detailed, nicely illustrated book.

Okay, we bought the human body one before this and that is great. I was thinking the same format would apply for this book and it doesn’t. This book isn’t about sharks, it’s great whites with random facts about other kinds of sharks.(I didn’t realize this when I bought it)1. This is not an old book and it’s certainly not up to date on its factual information, specifically pertaining to the behavioural aspects of Sharks. Like for example all the photos are still propagandizing they idea that sharks are scary man eaters and they talk about that still after everything we know. Disappointing. Unoriginal. Lazy.2. I thought it would talk a lot about the bones and the muscles and the BODY of the sharks like the human body book did but it didn’t it’s little blurbs scattered everywhere with a LOT of random and sometimes sort of meaningless information.Overall I wanted to return it immediately but the person I bought it for refused and wants to keep it. It says the book is for 8+ but this just isn’t so. Much younger can enjoy this also.
