BoschPS82N 12V Max Brushless 3/8 In. Impact Wrench (Bare Tool)

I have a ps42 that I managed to kill after a couple years. This is apparently the exact same tool, just with a 3/8 sq drive instead of the 1/4 hex--but bosch says this version has slightly higher max torque, I assume simply because the beefier 3/8 drive transfers the impacts more effectively.I haven't done any formal measurements, but my initial impression is that this is indeed noticeably more potent than the 42. Example, driving longer screws into treated wood, where a bigger 18v driver makes quick work of it, the ps42 would get it done but had to work at it, maybe take a couple extra seconds. This ps82 does seem to sink them more quickly and with less effort, if that makes sense.Still not near as powerful and pretty much any 18v or higher impact driver, but incredibly impressive for how small and light it is. That's important to me because my main tool bag is very stripped down for maximum versatility, minimum weight and bulk. Love this little thing.Oh, btw I'm using it with a locking bit holder and a short T25 bit in the example above. The torx bit locks into the bit holder, but the bit holder doesn't actually lock onto the square drive, although it is pretty stiff so it doesn't pull off easily. Also it's not magnetic, which would be really nice (might have to keep looking for that). Funciona bien buena fuerza solo que la entrada de el dado es muy sensible el dado se cae muy fácil es débil el resorte y se rompe rápido solo eso es lo malo de hay en fuera es buena ojalá que lo corrijan

Great tool for jobs in the light to medium weight category. Not something I would likely be using routinely for working on cars and equipment but for more routine around the house projects and small lawn equipment its perfect.

Light small tool but lacking a little bit of power. Weaker than a hand i would say.

Es una buena llave que te sirve para usos en trabajos menores, como armado de muebles Pero si con una buena potencia cuando se necesita, como pernos auto perforantes en planchas de metal ,por lo compacto no cansa la mano en trabajos constantes.

It is expensive for a 12v impact gun in 2023 as there are lots of cheaper options available but it's a good gun.
