Mr. Boddington's Studio: 'Twas the Night Before Christmas

This book is a charmingly illustrated version of the classic Christmas poem we all grew up on (at least here in the USA). I love the quasi-folkloric quirkiness of the illustrations in this little book which somehow give it a modern flair. It would make a wonderful gift for any child (or even adult) and could be passed down as an heirloom of sorts to be read over and over through the ages and generations. Love it!!! (P.S. Anthropologie also carries this version.)

I purchased this for my husband and I when we were pregnant with our first child because it has a sweet memory keeper in the back to write down each child’s favorite gift and memory every year. I was impressed with the illustrations and look forward to reading it every year.

This book is not only stunning, but the illustrations are SO fun for little ones to explore. We would spend at least 30 minutes every night with my 5 yo reading and enjoying this book during the holidays. And we found something new to look at every time. This book will be a family heirloom for years to come.

Seriously a stunning book! I bought it for my daughter’s first Christmas. She’s too young to really know what’s going on but I hope this book will be a staple for Christmases to come to read on Christmas Eve !! The illustrations are simply beautiful. Highly recommend for a unique, more artsy/modern, looking take on a classic story.

A great version with adorable illustrations

The illustrations in this book are so stunning. It's such a joy to read. High quality pages, thick paper stock. Nice hard cover. This book is made to last the years. I love the section at the back where you are able to record the favorite gift for each year. We bought this for my baby's first Christmas and I'm excited for it to be part of our Christmas traditions every year - especially the gift log at the end. A fun activity to do together as a family as we pack everything up for the next year.
