Shocking lighting and ghosting
TV looks great buts that's about it.The TV doesn't swivel at all on the base, no big deal but a nice feature of my Samsung it repalced that is absent. For an HDR TV that is supposed to give deeper blacks this TV is shocking. The blacks are washed out and made brighter by what I describe as ghosting.Anytime there is a contrasting picture where there is an area of brightness on black you get the effect I show in the pictures. This ruins the deep dark blacks I was expecting of this TV.Research shows that is something called dimming and can be turned off but in doing so you lose some of the vibrancy of the picture. While this is noticeable on whatever you're watching I have demonstrated it in the images of it extreme effects with belck screen and whitw titles. In short this is a worse picture than than the 8 year old 1080p Samsung it was supposed to replace. Mine will be going back.Edit: To enhance the blacks LG use a feature called local dimming. One of the main features in my decision to buy this was the deeper blacks. However as detailed above it is very poorly executed and as a result you get the issues described. You can turn this feature off in the settings but the picture then loses its depth and is merely acceptable. Not want I was looking for in a £800 TV. As it mine was returned.

Good tv but has a few issues
Great tv for gaming with the 120hz display however it's by no means perfect internet stability isn't great even tho my internet is running just fine also I've noticed when I'm watching something on Netflix the screen flickers and aslo blacks out patches of LEDs this has only been an issues on Netflix. Prime video and Disney work fine so does YouTube so hopefully an update will fixs this issues overallits not a bad TV but has a couple of flaws.EDIT after looking into the Netflix issues it appears to be a Dolby vision issues and not just across LG tvs I watched a show that doesn't have Dolby vision on Netflix and it worked fine hopefully this can be fixed with an update

Really good TV for the price point.
I've had this TV for about a month now. I bought it specifically for the high refresh rate and HDMI 2.1. Long and short of it is it's a great TV. I had no issues with mine at all, the screen looks great but I would recommend you set up the screen settings to your taste. The screen has local dimming to enable darker blacks etc which is interesting to see for the first time...its very obvious if you have subtitles on during a dark scene for example. Not bad but noticeable. On screen settings I would recommend using automatic filmmaker mode when watching streaming apps or dvds as the screen shows the content how it was intended to be seen by the filmmaker. Usually makes the content bit warmer etc. Regular HD TV signal can look very saturated if you have the screen set to vivid for example. So play around with the settings. The TV speakers also surprised me as they sounded much better than I expected, I use my soundbar for audio but I did test the speakers and they were pretty decent and even had some bass in there but would still advise to get a sound bar to upgrade audio.I have my Xbox series X connected to it too and it looks gorgeous especially on 4k ready games such as Forza Horizon 5. The high refresh rate basically means that movement are smooth.Good TV for the price, if you want the same specs with an OLED screen then look at the LG C1...same specs with better screen but more money obviously.

A great TV hindered by some minor annoying issues
The Good:- Great picture quality, it's crisp and colourful and supports "film maker" and "dolby video" modes if the app has it.- Plenty of options that are easy to manage and configure- Decent sound quality for a TV (still worth getting a soundbar though if you like good audio)- Fast and responsive UI, the only "wait time" is on it's initial boot up, which is acceptable- Good I/O (ports on the back)- The magic remote cursor feature is a life saver ONLY when you've scrolled to the bottom of a list and want to just jump to a different category instead of having to scroll all the way back up. (cough disney+ cough)- The built in LG ThinQ home stuff is actually pretty nice to have. The dashboard is good too.- The AI stuff helps it detect inputs so if you plug in a chromecast and an Xbox it knows what they are and names your inputs for you. It even detects smart features that those devices support and enables them.- The phone app that lets you use it as a tv controller is fast and a good experience to use.The Bad:- The "magic" remote is also a pain in the a** most of the time. You accidentally "wiggle" it when you pick it up which brings up the cursor. Which means it forgets whatever button you last pressed on the UI. (see below)- The remote has NO play/pause/rewind buttons. You have to do everything by clicking the middle "ok" button. So if you need to pause Netflix and accidentally wiggle the remote as mentioned above, you have to spend twice as long trying to line the cursor up with Netflix's small pause icon and then try to press in the really stiff ok button without moving the cursor.- The remote has 3 buttons for voice assistants. 2 of which are pointless.2 of the buttons are for Google or Alexa. These do nothing even remotely related to Google or Alexa, it just selects which AI you want to use for the voice feature. The third button is the microphone one which opens the voice assistant anyway on a single press OR does all of the work REGARDLESS if you hold it and say something. They could have removed the two voice assistant buttons and put in a pause/play one.....- The voice assistant is also terrible. The AI is good, and the results are alright, but the voice that says "ok, searching for blah on Netflix" is super low budget. LG should have selected either Google or Alexa and just baked it in instead of trying to please everyone.- The TV insists on using "local dimming" which is absolutely beyond garbage. It tries to make darker scenes more interesting but instead it just looks like someone is shining a torch up the screen where the brighter parts are and ruins your film. Turn it off. It's honestly the worst thing about this TV.SUMMARY:Would I buy this TV again? Yes.Would I buy this TV again IF a Samsung one of similar price was on Amazon's pay in 5? No.

Great tv for the price.
Great tv, ideal for someone with a game setup with the 120hz screen and the gaming options. Ideal ps5 or xbox tv, you do need to fiddle with some of the setting to make it even better but in all Great tv I would 100% recommend
