Used these as a filler underneath reflective fire glass for a fire pit table. Worked great and I only needed half or less than the expensive glass.

I needed a set of lava rocks to replace the original decorative rocks in a gas fireplace that had disintegrated after 10+ years of use. I read many reviews of different versions of these kinds of rocks before settling on this set, mostly due to the size and color in the pictures. Really pleased with the bag I received - rocks of a nice set of different sizes and "natural" shapes, and well over 80% of the bag in the stated 1"-2" size, with at least 5-10% of the rocks a little bigger. Best of all, the colors were a perfect neutral complement for the permanent decorative logs and base in the fireplace itself, with a subtle color variation between light charcoal, to grey, to grey-brown. Very little dust or crushed rock in the bag, and now I have enough to replace them again for years to come.

Liked the size selected. It was to replace pea gravel size lava rock.

Worked perfectly in our fire table. Nice sized rocks.
