Great!
We use it in our work as cleaners and I can say, comparing to other vacuum cleaners so far this is THE BEST.First it is really light, which is great for us because we carry it around the houses.Second it is really powerfull. We combine it with the turbo brush for carpets and even in houses with dogs like german shepherd everything comes off. For the hard floors is same, there is nothing left behind, which is great because if I clean with the steamer and there is hair left it becomes a mess. And I have to change the cloth and start over.Third the extension pipes and carpet/hard floor atachments disassamble really easy, so it is easy to attach the brush directly with the hoose for cleaning the sofas, headboards, beds. Also the pipes are really long and light,so it is great for cleaning the cobwebs and hard to reach places in the house. The cable is long and combine with the lightnes is great for cleaning the stairs. This is a great product ever for a domestic use, because the price is same /in some cases cheaper/ like the other well known brands, but it is SO MUCH BETTER.I don't like the other ones, like for example Gtech one. You can not use it on stairs, heardboards, cobwebs, because the head is too big and it is heavy /the small ones are useless/. And you can not use it on a hard floor. You better swipe the floor that using that one. It is great just for carpets! The Dyson ones, the price is triple more than this, lasts 15 minutes and try to clean a cobweb with it 😁 There are hundred attachments, which are useless. But it is powerfull and easy to storage.I won't even discuss the Henry ones...So that is my personal opinion, but based on many, many other vacuum cleaners that I used in the past

It's pretty good
I'm back a year later to update my review. I originally gave it 10/10 because at first I was delighted at how it was working and I guess I didn't have time to properly try it out. After having it the past year and using it on numerous DIY jobs around the house, I find myself disappointed with the vacuum . It's over all great - but for fine dust it clogs the filter in a matter of seconds and that makes you lose all suction power . It does a brilliant job when you hand scrub a floor and suck up the water. It's just such a shame that it clogs up so easily with fine dust . YOU MUST have the filter installed for the vacuum to have any sort of suction power , so removing it before use is not an option . I do wish I had done a little more research before buying because to be honest , I would have spent a little more money on a better machine

Great Quality Vacuum but lack of conectivity to power tools.
Great vacuum. It comes with everything you see in the photo.I was a little surprised at how large it is, it is a lot bigger than the WD3 even though it's capacity is not that much greater.Quality seems excellent. The main switch is solid and smooth, as is the motor. It's pretty quiet for a powerful vacuum, albeit not as quiet as a Miele.Everything fits precisely and it all inspires confidence. Two minor complaints are firstly the curved handle-piece that tools and extensions connect to. On the WD3 you can connect the vacuum directly to many power tools but on the WD4 the curved piece is the wrong diameter and being curved is not that friendly. You need a reducer, which are available from Amazon for about £8. The diameter you need to fit the Karcher is 35mm. I think it would be far better if they provided a replacement for the curved piece that is more "power-tool" oriented. ( The curved piece is removable but there is nothing to replace it with ). Second issue is the long extension pipe. It's too flexible, which makes vacuuming carpets difficult - it just bends with any pressure. I got round that by ordering a steel pipe from Spares to Go.A shame really, but lets not let it ruin an otherwise great vacuum!Nearly lost a star!Other than that, no complaints at all. It's a lovely vac at a decent price.

I have used it many times for dry builders mess and it is fine but of course make sure it is dry from ...
I bought this to vacuum damp weeds and moss removed from my block paving and was unhappy with the performance. The main problem is that the flexible hose accumulates some of this this rubbish and then is finally difficult to clean out because of the hose flexible configuration and design and even when I wash it there is no way to test whether it is clean or dry. Is it possible to have a smooth bore and flexibility, that is up to technicians. I have used it many times for dry builders mess and it is fine but of course make sure it is dry from the previous wash out !!, it is very mobile and no problem but I could have used an ordinary vacuum not this professional. Yes I have sent a note to the manufacturer but what could they say other than wash it out and they seemed concerned that I was vacuuming damp materials. I have not tried it to vacuum just water but my requirement was for damp materials for which it failed.requirement was for clearing up damp mess.

Rust bucket with leaks
After couple of years it has rusted meaning seals are useless and when sucking water I end up with even more mess than I started with.
