I have used this product for close to 10 years. I love it and frequently recommend to friends and colleagues with curly hair. What I like best about it is it allows me to wash my hair less frequently. Those with shorter curly hair, who dreads the morning "bed head" with curls sitting on one side of your head. The morning hair that forces you to wash your hair, or minimally wet and condition it so it will look decent until you sleep again. A quarter sized amount in the palm of your hand after being freshly washed is all you need. Wake up with "bed head" simply spritz with water (I purchased my spritzer bottle from Amazon as well) and finger style your hair. I can even go from flat iron straight back to my curly locks, it does, however; take a bit more water. Finally this is the forth bottle I have purchased in the close to 10 years I have been using this product. I use it every time I wash my hair (weekly). So economically it is a fabulous product. BTW the product was recommended to me by "The Curly Hair Institute" in Toronto.

Curl Keeper is an amazing product that I rely on to stop my hair looking like dandelion fluff. The package however, came damaged and mostly empty. Simply covering the lid with packing tape would have prevented this waste and my extreme disappointment.

I wish I'd known about this product years ago! I've struggled with frizzy hair my whole life and tried hundreds of products. Even after switching to the Curly Girl method, my hair was still frizzy. Then I discovered Curl Keeper, and it was literally life-changing! Whereas with other products my curls are perfect when wet and then become more lifeless as they dry, it's the opposite with Curl Keeper. As my hair dries, my curls become bouncier and more pronounced. I wish the consistency was thicker- I was surprised at how watery it was and how much product you need. I also don't like that your hair has to be dripping wet when you apply this as it takes forever for my hair to dry. One of the selling points of this product is that it's water soluble and apparently you can just wet your hair to reactivate the product. This has never worked for me- I just end up with frizzy hair when I try it. Despite any criticisms I have, I'm still giving this 5 stars and recommending it to everyone with curly hair. I would gladly use tons of watery product on dripping wet hair and forgo reactivating the product when it means I get to have hair like this! I freaking love this product!!! And it's Curly Girl friendly!

This is a cool product, even being a bit pricy. I either have been using all my styling products before buying this wrong, or this is just a really good product for my hair. I have low porosity hair that’s all of the 2 types, as well as types 3a and 3b when it comes to curls. My hair just does it’s own thing, which is why I used to straighten it daily, but that was obviously horrible for my hair. I used to use a bunch of different creams, sprays, and a gel on my hair to try and help it hold it’s natural curl before this product. Which, would make my hair look okay for a day. The next day hair would always be floppy and lifeless no matter what I did to try and revive it. With this, my hair looks pretty good on day one. I admittedly probably don’t use this as well as I could, so I’m putting that down to user error. However, my day 2 hair has more bounce, curl, and volume than it’s ever had with all my previous products combined. It’s unreal. It looks more like “intentional” curly-wavy bedhead vs the dull, flat, wavy-only day 2 hair I used to have before this product. All I do on day 2 is give my hair a little spritz with water, scrunch it, and go! I recommend it, it works for me. Value for money is pretty good simply because I’ve only been using this product on its own vs the 10+ other products I would try to use to get hair results this one product gave me. So overall I’m spending less on the one product even though it is on the pricier side.
