Used to mount a 65" Samsung LED TV (prox 50 lbs.). Was able to catch 2 studs, but I feel would be OK with 1 stud and a good drywall anchor for the other. Was easy to mount and easy to level. Mounts TV close to the wall. Lets you swing it away from the wall enough to connect wiring

Brilliant product but I wish the instructions were better, which are sort of difficult to comprehend. I had to return my unit because it was missing some parts.ATTENTION NEW BUYERS: please be cognizant of the following facts:- The mount is designed and instruction supplied are for mounting TV in Wood or concrete. If you want to mount on drywall and your studs are not close enough to support width required by your TV (measure the distance b/w holes in the back of your TV, holes will need to be drilled at the same exact width for this mount) you will have to buy some drywall anchors yourself.- Not sure if it applies to this mount but reviews on previous of this mount alluded that this is one time mount with not easy way to take the TV down. So do some research before buying/mounting this, especially if you want to take your TV off of a wall after mounting.

The product stated on Samsung website that it is compatible with KS8000 series while manual does not show anything about KS8000 series TV; in addition, I had to be creative and "make my own" solution utilizing parts included in the package.

This is a good concept for a wall mount, but it is horribly executed. The instructions are a joke; they are nothing more than a series of pictures with no steps laid out in how to assemble or mount the brackets to the wall or the TV. I had a professional contractor come out to mount this and he was unable to make sense of the instructions. Not only that, but this is definitely not made to be mounted to dry wall. I read several reviews prior to purchasing and even the questions that had been asked about mounting to dry wall. The general consensus was that it could work as long as sheet rock shields were used. After putting three ugly holes in my bedroom wall the contractor finally concluded that it could not hold in sheet rock as I was led to believe from reviews. I am very unhappy with this product because it has created a huge mess in my wall that must now be paid for to be repaired.

I ordered this for use with a UN65KS800D (this is the Costco model of UN65KS8000). The mount indicates it is compatible with this model, but contains no instructions for installation as noted by another reviewer. Contacting Samsung yielded the response that no diagram was available for this TV, and they suggested I contact a professional installer, which I consider an unacceptable response.The mount is compact, extremely lightweight, and well-constructed. It appears that it will have no problem holding the rated weight. However, installation is contingent upon your walls having studs at the perfect locations. If not, you must either open the wall and install a brace, or you must be willing to rely on drywall toggle bolts to support the entire weight of your TV.The mount is engineered with a catastrophic flaw; your TV attaches via a piece which "snaps in" to the wall mount and is locked by a metal retaining clip. The practical result of this is that if you opt for the shallow depth installation, your TV *cannot* be removed from the wall after it is mounted. This cannot be overstated: you must either demolish your wall, or break your TV, to remove it for any reason. The deeper installation utilizes a metal support tab which makes it possible to remove the TV, but this somewhat diminishes the attractiveness of the "slim" wall mount moniker. However, it is the only usable option for this mount.If you are still considering this mount, research it thoroughly online before proceeding to be certain you have the ideal scenario required to use it. It seems impossible that a company like Samsung could have left such fatal flaws in this product, but it has done so through multiple revisions. Given the unusability of the mount, I was forced to return it.

Fit my 65" Samsung perfect, wall studs were in the correct location for the install. Make sure you check and double your measurements and use a good 3 or 4 foot level! Once the TV is set into the hangers they lock in and it will take quite a bit of pressure to get them to unlatch. Very happy with the hangers and was able to mount the TV close to the wall. Don't care for the hangers that stick the TV out several inches. Wall hangers are hinged to allow cable hook-up and give plenty of room to do such. All items were included in kit with some left overs for different applications.Next project is to run cables in the wall and install a surround sound system.
