If the black stainless steel cooktop is a smoothtop (glass-ceramic cooktop), then Cerama Bryte Cooktop Cleaner is safe and effective to use. Our Cerama Bryte Cooktop Scraper and Cooktop Cleaning Pad are also highly recommended to keep your cooktop looking like new.

Q: Is this product "septic tank safe" ?

This is a great product, using only a small amount (size of a dime) After scrubbing I wipe with a wrung out dish cloth and wring out in the sink, I doubt the small amount of cleaner would have any effect on a septic tank.
