THIS AIN'T YOUR GRANDADDY'S TEA
For over 70 years, I drank Lipton as the go-to tea. I thought that was what tea was SUPPOSED to taste like. Fell to talking with a couple of Canadians while on vacation who gave me a brief primer on what tea CAN taste like. Lipton's "grassy" taste was what I was used to...I mean, that was what tea tasted like to me. After a mug of Red Rose Breakfast Tea (the Canadian Red Rose is a different company and tea from the US Red Rose) I have never looked back. Our friends shipped us Canadian Red Rose in a plain brown wrapper until I "found" it on Amazon. I prefer the Red Rose Orange Pekoe now for sipping everyday tea. Its smoother than the more brash R.R. Breakfast Tea. They even make a decaf version of the Orange Pekoe which is really well worth trying. My life is a little bit better now. Keep an open mind and stay safe!!

Great tea
I have tried so many teas and I was very pleased with this one. It has a stronger flavor than regular red rose tea. I used just one tea bag instead of my usual 2 and had lots of flavor. Plus, it doesn’t have that annoying tag! I will buy again.

I LOVE THIS TEA. IN MY OPINION THE BEST BREAKFAST TEA AND FOR THE 4:00 CLOCK TEA TIME.

Really good tea!!
I usually go to Canada to get this tea but with the border closed, I couldn’t. I was pleased to see this on Amazon as this is my most favored tea. Rich flavor and no bitterness. Highly recommend this as well as Red Rose’s regular Canadian blend.

Not what I expected
I had tasted ice tea in Canada this summer. I asked what kind of tea was used. I was told Red Rose. While this tea is good, it does not taste like the tea I had in Canada.

It is lighter and we enjoyed it. Went to order and found Red Rose ...
Mu husband has been a fan of Red Rose tea since he was a child. In Canada last summer and found Red Rose Orange Peko tea. It is lighter and we enjoyed it. Went to order and found Red Rose Canadian Breakfast tea. We have now become true fans. The original makes great iced tea but we will go for the Canadian Breakfast from now on. You need to try it. Red Rose is the best!

Nice flavour and peace of mind combined
I used to buy Twinings English Breakfast loose leaf tea, but then all my local grocery stores stopped carrying it. I switched to buying online, most recently on Amazon, but it became more and more expensive. I decided my budget couldn't afford the outrageous cost and I briefly switched to Twinings in tea bags, but I really resented the fact that I had to throw them in the garbage--all the major tea companies make their bags out of plastic and I figure we have too much of that in our environment. All (I think) except one: Red Rose. It is true that the Red Rose bags don't break down in residential scale composters, but from my research, they do in the high heat of industrial/municipal composting. So with this blend, I get a full, flavorful tea and I don't have to feel guilty about the waste. At a price that's reasonable. Win win win.

Great Breakfast Tea!
This tea is my daily breakfast tea! I prefer “breakfast teas” over orange pekoe, and Red Rose does a great job of making richer, flavourful teas.I can’t find Canadian Breakfast tea in many stores, so Amazon.ca is a great option. I have sought out this particular tea, instead of going with others that are less preferred.I am also very eco-conscious, which also makes me prefer this tea over others! The teabags contain NO PLASTIC, and they are entirely plant-based. Most other brands have teabags that contain plastics, so this is a huge advantage of Red Rose teas! With writing this review, I now want a cup! I’ll go make myself one. :)

Closest to Timmy's Steeped Tea
I love Timmy's steeped tea, unfortunately they don't sell it except in K-cup or Keurig, funny. I don't want to carry a Keurig machine with me when going out, so I need to find alternatives. I tried multiple brands of orange peokoe and found this one to be closest. Not the same, but taste good enough. Yes it's more expensive than regular tea bags that cost a fraction of this, but you get what you paid for. I like stronger taste, so I use two tea bags when carrying a large travel mug, otherwise one bag should be fine for regular mugs.

Where Has All The Delicious Black Tea Gone?
Red Rose used to be the best tasting, most fragrant, black tea. Now it's garbage, absolute garbage. But it's not just Red Rose, it's all black teas. Ever since the fruity-flowery potpourri-tasting concoctions they call tea nowadays took over the market, it's become impossible to find a really good basic black tea. I have tried them all - from the very cheap no-name brands to the ridiculously expensive certified organic hand-stitched tea sachets and everything in between... and ALL of them taste the same - literally cannot tell them apart. By "taste the same" I mean they have no taste. Literally ZERO taste. And zero fragrance. The original red rose back in the day before the potpourri teas took over, had a beautiful aroma that you could smell as soon as you opened the package even before you made a cup of tea, and the taste was fabulous! Now ALL black teas, including Red Rose orange pekoe and Red Rose Canadian Breakfast are truly awful: no fragrance at all, no taste at all.. it's like you're drinking a cup of dirty warm water. And Amazon makes you buy a minimum of TWO packs of this garbage. WHERE HAS ALL THE DELICIOUS BLACK TEA GONE??? Bring back the real original Red Rose, otherwise stop calling it Red Rose!

Bold, flavourful and strong
I have drank the same tea my entire life because it is a stronger blend. I had never found one that compares to it. Not even regular Red Rose unless I used 2 bags. Even then, not quite as strong. I saw the Red Rose Bold Canadian blend about a year back and decided to give it a try. So glad I did. Tastes just like the one I grew up on. Maybe even slightly better. Now I drink both.
