Spectre Performance 9541 Black 3.5"-3" Coupler/Reducer

Fits well on my 08 GMC Acadia good job guys

I purchased a K&N FIPK for my AP2 Honda S2000, but decided that I did not want to use the provided K&N filter and stick with the OEM Honda filter. They did not have the 3.5 to 3" coupler/reducer at PepBoys so I ordered it from Amazon. It arrived in a very nice box and included two quality clamps. I cut about an inch from the Honda OEM filter's neck and used the coupler to attach it to the K&N intake tube. It is a quality product and it seems to hold up pretty well so far. I had to adjust the clamps once, after the engine bay was hot and have not had to tighten them since. If I need any more intake couplers/reducers I will not hesitate to purchase from Spectre.

it does what i needed it to do

Was used to replace a turn boot on the air box of a 1998 Toyota Tacoma SR5. Worked great. Does exactly what I need it too and it was way cheaper than what Toyota wanted for OEM boot. Overall very happy. Would recommend.

This coupler is not for boosted engines, even low boost. I only boost to 10psi and the coupler started expanding within days of use but it did prove my custom intake so I am okay with it. I replaced it with a reinforced coupler. Really I should know better. For non boosted engine intakes it is good. I did not return it because it is my fault.
