Stride Rite Toddler Boys Marina Water Shoe

I bought these for my 18 mo. old daughter in Spring, in a size 5.5. She was wearing a 4.5 that fit perfect, bordering on too small. I got a good deal on this size on Amazon, and wasn't worried because I figured they'd last the season. They were definitely bigger on her then I expected, but she got around fine and has been wearing them almost daily for months. I would guess they run about a half a size large, based on other StrideRite shoes she owns, so keep that in mind if you're already ordering a little big to get through a season.We've washed them once, but I haven't noticed any real smell before or after. They smell like shoes that get dirty, but there's no stinky foot smell like other reviewers talk about. I've had another pair of StrideRite sneakers where the velcro strap started to tear off. That did not happen with these. I never notice any marks on her feet or blisters. She seems to like them and is always excited to put on her shoes to go out and play.Overall, I'm almost always really happy when I buy StrideRites. They're more expensive, but if you're only getting one or two pairs a season, paying for good quality shoes that can handle a toddler seems important to me.

My son loves these shoes, he's 2.5 and asks for his 'water park' shoes every chance he gets. He says they are comfortable, we haven't used them much when they are wet. The only reason I docked a star is the fabric of the shoe seems like it would be uncomfortable when wet.The wonderful part about these shoes is the shoe lining is sewn in. Other Stride Rite tennis shoes I've bought always have the lining fall out after a wash as they are only glued in cheaply. With a toddler potty training I can't simply hand wash the shoes.

Exceeded expectationsVery comfortable shoe offering a lot of flexibility and support. Comfortable from the first wear (without socks) and no issues with chafing or blisters.My daughter has wide feet the the normal width fit fine.These shoes are more expensive than others but the quality and comfort makes it justifiable.I plan to purchase another pair for my other daughter.My three year old does need help putting these shoes on. This does not bother me though.

I LOVE these shoes for my 19 month old. They are a perfext size 5 fit. I need a flexible, durable, non slip, sandal type shoe for him. We use them for camping. We persoanlly have had no stinky smell issues at all with these. But any fabric type shoe that you wear without socks, will smell at some point, especially if you get them wet. We bought these to replace the native water shoes.

These work great for playing outside and getting wet. I use them when we go to camp . However I noticed if he runs in them for awhile his heels get bad red marks like chaffing. They fit well and work for just playing not running. For the price I'd expect better but there fine for going to beach etc.

I bought these for my 2 year old and she loves them! Good quality! I got a wide size, but wish I could have found them in extra wide.

I didn’t expect leather on parts of the sandal but it seems to hold up to water and sun well. They dry a little slower than other brands we’ve tried. Perfect for the playground or walking around where a toddler might get wet too. 4 stars because 1.5 yr old finds them a bit uncomfortable.
