WAGO 4PIN CONNECTOR

So useful to connect 3 wires and to do a pigtail with them.

Used these WAGO connectors for years. They are fast to use but more importantly they save space inside electrical boxes. The older twist ties take up lots of space (Particularly the white/neutral and ground wires.You do need a variety of connectors so start with a combo pack. Soon you will see the specific ones you need to stock up on...

Works as described

In the end, these will probably work with solid wire with no issues and last a long time.BUT.....I bought these to replace one that was already in use that had stopped working. I figured it would be a no brainer to replace like for like. I bought 10. I put the first one in and tested the connection, put the ballist back together and tested. Worked....for about 4 minutes and then the connection no longer worked. Pulled the whole device apart again, found that the stranded wires were pulled out. So I tinned the wires and put the unit back together. Same deal. Ended up just soldering the whole thing together and not using these devices.The primary wire coming out of the ballist was a solid wire and the connecting wire(had to use) was stranded. The stranded wire was not staying in place either twisted or tinned.

Easy to use and safer!
