Rainbow Sandals Kid's Cape Molded Rubber Sandal

We absolutely LOVE these flip flops! I searched the internet for a pair for a young child, after not having any luck, locally. The description of these flip flops was totally off. The color that I clicked on, to order, kept showing up wrong when I tried to check out. All Rainbow flip flops in this small size come with a strap on the back, yet this wasn't in the picture or in the description. I emailed the seller and never got a response. I tried to contact the seller, via the telephone, but was unsuccessful in getting a number. I had to call Amazon to try to get the correct description of the flip flops. They weren't able to help me, except to give me the info that they had, which was already under "descriptions" on the item page. I don't blame Amazon for this. I finally had to call Rainbow Flip Flops, who isn't the actual seller of the product on Amazon (just the maker), in order to get the proper info on these shoes. We love, love, love the shoes but it was a big hassle to get the correct description, details and color of them.

The picture showed that these had a strap which is why I bought them because they are for my 3 year old. He wears a size 11 in toddlers for regular shoes so I got a size 11 in sandals bc the 10s are getting too small. But the ones that were delivered didn't have a strap and are much larger than I thought. He can wear them and they are great quality just not what we were expecting.

My 3 year old son wears these almost every day. He is a very active kid and they end up all over the place when he takes them off (in the rain, under the trampoline, etc) and they are holding up really great. No issues. Will probably order a bigger size when he grows out of them. The back strap never comes off of his heel but they don't seem too tight for him either.

Always had to buy these for my older son when he was in school, they would only allow Rainbow flip flops.Fast forward 20+ years and here I am ordering them for my two year old, just because I remember how well they are made, how good they hold up and how nice the look on.My two year old does not want to wear his other sandals.

My just turned seven year old grandson loved getting and wearing these rainbow flip flops! He wears a size 13 sneaker but the 11/12 was the ideal fit in the Rainbow flip flop. Originally I purchased a bigger size 13/1 and it was far too big. I’d rather one summer of a great fit Than see him struggle with something too large on his feet. The half circle leather at the base of the strap was a great addition for both comfort and helping keep this flip flop on his feet when running or walking. He loves loves loves them. They are just like his Dad’s! Awesome!

Rainbows don’t come in 1/2 sizes so with kids it’s best to size up which is great when they are little enough to have the band. These fit better than the leather sole ones. It took two boys 4 mo each before I handed them over perfectly worn in and perfectly too small. My sons are a size 11 and a size 9 I ordered 11/12 which comes without the heel band, and 9/10 which did.

Just like adult rainbow sandals but have the ankle straps to help them stay on the child’s feet. I cut off the ankle straps after a month as my child no longer needed them and they pulled too tight. I’ve been buying rainbow sandals in San Clemente since the 70’s and they are excellent!
