Great monitor, good quality
I upgraded from a couple 1080p 60hz monitors up to these and it was night and day difference. While it's not making me a legendary god gamer, the quality in watching videos is amazing.Helpful tip if you use display port, Windows and display port support is terrible, but you can set "power button" in the monitor settings to be standby instead of off, this will keep the monitor active instead of fully disconnecting. Otherwise Windows will give the disconnection sound along with shifting around all your windows.

MSI G273QF, 27 is a really good monitor
the MSI G273QF came without any dead pixels or backlight bleed, really happy with it & it's really good when I'm gaming!

Dead pixels, Amazon replaced, dead pixels again, but I love the monitor
This was my first 1440p display so I don't have a point of reference besides my gaming 1080p monitor. This monitor is great, but it came with dead pixels. Amazon was amazing and replaced it but the new one has dead pixels too. They each had 3-4 dead pixels. The second one has them in areas that are less obvious, but the first one were dead in the middle.Other than the dead pixels, I think this monitor is great value and quality. I can game at 144 or 165 hz, with or without adaptive sync...No other issues that I know of.

For Value the BEST.
You cannot get a better monitor for cheaper. MSI is the king of cheap. However i must say the peak brightness seems a bit low, and the setting is greyed out for mine. I would highly recommend this for anyone on a budget wanting to play in 2k, it is everything it claims but has dimming issues, randomly likes to dip in brightness, not the best for some games.I own another MSI 1k monitor that does not dip in brightness and is adjustable. Not sure what the issue is but that alone costs it 2 stars. The top bezel is pretty thick so if you use a webcam or light make sure it can fit 5/8in if you dont use an arm. This monitor has no dimming zones and does not support hdr, but for the price of $280~ for a 2k monitor you cant get that anywhere else so full marks really minus the random dimming which may be a software or settings issue. If you are on a budget and have a decent gpu, 3080+, I would go with this, however you could save and spend twice as much and a twice as good monitor, choice is yours.

5 Star Monitor.
Nothing to dislike at all about this monitor. Just played new MW2 beta at 165 hz and impressed by its quality. Price is very good too compared to 400 dollar monitors. Various color settings for different games and the colors this monitor produces along with the refresh rate is off the chain.

Recent Purchase Feb 2022
After less than a week I did have 1 pixel fail and display only as white. Was able with Amazon to instantly return it for another monitor no hassles they gave me 30 days to return the old monitor. I received the new monitor sooner than shipping date said I would get it. Returned the old monitor (free of charge) with the QR code Amazon gave me to drop it off at a UPS store. Week 1 new monitor is working out great. 5 stars cause yes I did have a pixel out but the immediate no hassle return and shipment of a new one did it for me. I'm enjoying the improved gaming experience visual and fps without other hardware upgrades. If your on a 60htz monitor you will see an improvement gaming with this monitor.

Sharp Monitor
When I replaced my old monitor with this one, it was like being able to see again. Incredibly crystal clear picture and a sleek design make this a major upgrade in my home office. It also helps my kids see their games in amazing high definition graphics. Well done MSI, this monitor is a winner.P.S. it was also pretty easy to setup from the box to the desk.

A Good low cost Monitor for Desk.

Be aware of quality control from MSI
I first bought this monitor around Black Friday, when it was $369.99. I then went through the process of advanced replacing, and then returning, and then repurchasing... for a total of 5 monitors!Every single monitor aside from the one I have now (FINALLY!) had 1-2 pixels that were most commonly stuck red, or sometimes dead entirely. Their placement ranged from the upper left, to the upper mid, to the lower mid.. I almost settled on the one I just returned, as it had one stuck red pixel that wasn't too bright and it was in a position where the chrome bookmark bar mostly covered it, but I'm glad I opted for the hassle of returning again.I finally have a G273QF without dead pixels (there is actually one in the bottom right BEHIND the bezel but it's not in direct view, have to look from an angle to notice it.)Have yet to do game testing, as the first thing I do is run the Eizo monitor test to check for stuck/dead pixels and overall backlight bleed etc, happy to say that this is manageable for the price paid.In hindsight, I probably should have spent more and gotten an LG panel, or even ordered from Dell but their shipping times suck, and as a student I wanted 1440P high refresh IPS on somewhat of a budget. Will update in a few weeks with a better review once the panel has been used for a while.

I like it
I like it, not sure what else to say. Colours are good enough for anyone (I ain't a professional at colours). Scrolling is awsome as it is super smooth and watching videos is great. Yeah yeah it is a gaming monitor. I game as well. Good enough for that kind of crap. Good deal as well. I have no issues with it either. Only problem is that I have a GTX1060 6gb and I can run into issues with minor slow downs as my computer works harder to run this display. I would highly recommend this display, just need something better than a GTX1060. It will work, just that you need to turn down the settings in games.

Terrible quality control
I read some of the negative reviews users have posted about dead pixels and such. I figured I'd take a chance since the price on Amazon was better than the one in-store. Shipped quickly, box and monitor appeared in perfect condition on the outside, decent construction, quick assembly, but when I plugged it into my PC and turned it on I was greeted with a bit more than a few dead pixels. I have no idea how this got through quality assurance but I will definitely steer clear of buying MSI products in the future. The parts of the screen I could see on the bottom looked nice though.

Dead pixels on both monitors
The first monitor that was sent had a clump of 10-15 dead pixels. Amazon sent an exchange promptly (ty amazon, you're the best). The new monitor has a single dead pixel, which I can live with on a 1440p monitor. Plus it's in a corner, so not a ~big~ deal.Typical MSI quality control mixed with the cheapest monitor in this class... You get what you pay for. Glad amazon took care of me :)Aside from the dead pixel, the colors and response time are great! Everything else is as expected. IPS glow is non-existent for both the monitors I received. No larger patches or bloom of light.Would I buy this again?- Yea, only while it was on sale AND knowing amazon is the best at returns/replacements. I would not buy this through any other vendor, especially if it's not on sale.
