Love these pens, use for financial work exclusively!! Have ordered this set twice and am having to return AGAIN - medium received, FINE ORDERED ! Not the price is up almost $6, will have to search elsewhere!! But still love the pens themselves!!!

Love these pens they are very hard to find anywhere now these. I'm very picky and I prefer these pens .05mm fine point and the papermate ink joy pens in fine point hard to find unless I order them thru here

The Paper Mate InkJoy Gel Pen is at the high-end of the low cost pen market both in terms of quality and performance. This is not one of those pens that you want to loose, but it is inexpensive enough that doing so wouldn't ruin your week. I love everything about this pen and I find that I reach for it more often than any of my other pens. It has a rubberized grip which is very comfortable. The grip is neither too thick nor too slender. I bought a fine point because I tend to write lots of notes on college-ruled paper and I like the control that this pen gives me. There is no skipping or blotting of ink. Another great thing, this pen starts up right away. There is no need to draw a bunch of circles to get the ink flowing. Like a good pie crust which has two opposing characteristics (tender and flaky), this pen point balances sharpness and smoothness. You'll feel a bit of scratchiness when you write and yet, the pen moves smoothly and does not accumulate even the smallest bit of paper. There really isn't a better low cost pen than this one and really it will come down to a preference for ballpoint, rollerball or gel pen. At any rate, I'm giving the Paper Mate InkJoy Gel Pen a place in my top five.

Update: I have recently realized that Inkjoy gel pens are no longer the perfect pen for lefties. After a very short time of use, they begin to ship or stop working altogether even though there is plenty of ink in them. I’ve talked with other lefties who have also discovered the same problem. I am moving on from my once-beloved Inkjoy gel pens. The Inkjoy pens have been my favorite ever since I discovered them. Their Injoy Gel pens leave all the other pens in the dust. The grip is perfectly sized and rubber-coated so it doesn't slip, the ink is bold in color and allows for smooth writing. The tip is finer than the previous Inkjoy pens, and still writes more smoothly than the others. As a lefty, I have to usually avoid gel ink pens because they usually smear so badly. That's where this pen becomes so amazing. The ink dries so quickly that there is NO smudging for a lefty! Not only is there no smudging on the page, but the side of your hand doesn't pick up any of the ink, either! If you're a lefty, you HAVE to have this pen. If you aren't a lefty, you still have to have this pen!

Believe the hype. I definitely thought it was weird how many people were taking the time to review a pack of pens, but they stand out. I got on here originally to buy a pack of G2s, but I read some reviews and it looked like a lot of people preferred these. Consider me another convert. The ink doesn't smudge at all! I'm not sure I could make it if I tried. They also write very smoothly, and have a pretty comfortable weight and diameter.Go down a size from your normal preference on .5, .7 boldness. I ordered .5 and would still like it to look a little finer. But would recommend above any of the other gel pens I've tried.

It's really hard to find these in fine point. Happy that I did. Happy with the colors. These are a nice balance between the fineness of the line and the flow of the ink. Not scratchy at all. The ink takes longer to dry to smudge-proof than the commercials would have you think, and it will definitely smear if you use a highlighter over it. But on the whole, the dry-time is pretty good (faster than the Pilot V5, my favorite daily use gel pen, much faster than the medium point of this same pen).

Took a while to get here but I was expecting that, great product

Was really annoyed at the fact i’ve got 0.7mm pens instead of 0.5mm as I ordered, but nonetheless very good pen quality. Ink does not smear AT ALL which was exactly what i wanted, and has a very comfortable grip and smoothness to it.

I've found my mate, my Papermate.I'm crazy about pens and this is probably my favorite to write with.
