Worth every penny for business use.
As we are all doing regular video calls now , this is a must for any business. plug and play in minutes. Perfect for Google Meet or MS Teams and Zoom. Tested on all 3 and works perfect. In the past, previously our setup was are separate , mic, speakers and web cam. Caused noise , feedback and lip sync issues. All that now gone. Best bit is the voice tracking where camera focuses on the person talking. A must for any business.

Perfect video kit
This was insanely easy to set up. Worked right out of the box. Just had to select the IRIS as the mic and as the speakers in Zoom, and it was ready to go. Very easy to use. Cheaper than a lot of competitor products.

Disappointing quality.
Trust Iris 4k wonder thing, best in the world they trumpeted! Paid reviews with full disclosure. Step into the new world with us they sang in chorus. So I purchase it. Picked my nicest conference room to host it. Got a big 65' JVC Smart TV for the wall, got a Lenovo legion laptop to run it all in glorious 4k, also wall mounted. All looks absolutely fantastic, spent 2 hours on the cable management alone... Head of IT comes in an configured it all, working. Me, my Production Manger & my PA spend an hour or so playing with the features. All good, all excited, all chest pumped out over our choices of equipment...First video conference of the day fails, we quickly breakout a MacBook pro to do meeting with. No worries. Teething problems, an hour to the next one. Next meeting, customer complains of poor sound quality... So we do some internal zooms to laptops etc. to check quality at receivers end. The Iris struggles on so many different levels its hard to know where to start. Low quality everything. So Its back in its box and off to where it came from.Absolute shame as it checked so many box's on the blurb.

Super Simple plug and play video conferencing option with amazing ease of use instructions
I was really impressed with both the finished product from an aesthetic standpoint but also the quality of the materials used. From unboxing to set-up it took no more than 60 seconds. I personally love the pre-sets for single use auto focus to telling the system to adapt to several attendees. It is larger than I expected but with the mounting equipment provided it fits effortlessly below the screen and while I have not tried myself, looks to be able to be mounted directly below the screen using universal brackets (as in if used on a mobile screen). So far audio seems to be great and the unit also allows for audio only bluetooth calling from your mobile.I would have liked to have seen a lens cap to protect the lens but other than that I cannot fault the unit for its price and ease of use. I have recently used both the Meeting Owl and other similarly priced Logitech units and this is definitely holding its own and easily the most efficient plug and play option.

An awesome video conferencing system - that works as a home office webcam!
OK, full disclosure, Trust invited me to review and supplied for free.I've had this for a month now and can honestly say it's fabulous.I had few teething problems, but that was down to my set-up. I tried plug it into a USB 2 port on my laptop and that really couldn't handle the bandwidth. My laptop doesn’t have USB3 port although my hub does. When I plugged in the supplied USB3 cable into the hub it worked perfectly, instantly. Truly plug and play.I bought a USB C to USB C 3.2 cable to test as I want to be able to connect without the hub. That works perfectly. Just be careful you use the right USB cables/ports.I've mainly used this in my home office due to lockdown and to be honest it's massive overkill - really, really good, just not stretching it's ability. I've waited to review until I've had the chance to take it into the office to try it in a few of the meeting rooms and put it through its paces. Happy to report it passed with flying colours.Video is great, does light adjustment/balance in difficult lighting conditions. Love to be able to zoom in really close and then right out to get the full room. The auto-pan to track voice works really well, close up and at about 8m (maximum room size I had access to) My kids had great fun testing that works! It will also follow and focus on one user. There are also a number of set views that can be programmed.Sound is awesome. Really, really good. The unit is pretty big (whole width of my 24" monitor) and it allows a good speaker set-up. Deep rich sound.I was worried about the microphone. I did some test call and thought I sounded a bit "echoey" compared to a headset with boom mic. I've spoken to colleagues who I have been on calls with and they haven't noticed. I sat in a Teams call on "the other side" and it sounded deep and rich, no noticeable echo. It also tracked multiple people well - along with video tracking on dominant voice. The background sound cancellation is impressive. I had building work going on outside my office today and thought I would have to switch to my headset. Good opportunity to test the Iris. Every call I had I apologised for the building work going on in the background and no one had noticed it. And it was genuinely pretty loud, I had to crank the volume up to hear the conversation.OK, bottom line, would I buy it? For me personally? Probably not as it's massive overkill and a lot of money for a home office webcam. Would I recommend it to my IT purchasing guys for the office? Absolutely! I have already. I've used a lot of the top-end videoconferencing systems and this works as well, if not better, than most; is literally plug and play, and a fraction of the cost.Thank you Trust for letting me try it.

Simple to set up and easy to install conferencing
As a freelance lecturer, coach and facilitator, the Iris Trust enables me to deliver high quality video presentations from my home office. As it is portable, I can also use for mixed groups who are in the room and attending online. In the post-Covid world, this is likely to be more common than before. I will no longer be a hostage to the AV quality of the venue I am delivering from. I am technically illiterate and found this easy to set up and use.
