- Heat Reflective Foil Side – Reflects 95% of radiant heat and protection up to 3000°F, NOT recommended for direct heat contact with hot metals but can withstand up to 350°F.
- Texturized fiberglass side with adhesive can withstand operating temperature up to 1000°F.
- (PSA) Pressure sensitive adhesive backing is ultra-lightweight and designed to help hold the tape firmly in place for ease of initial placement of application. Conforms on many irregular surfaces. The surface should be dry, clean and free of contaminants prior to tape application.
- The light-weight pressure sensitive adhesive will burn off after extended exposure to heat. It’s important after the tape is placed to utilize a manual bond such as stainless steel zip ties or hose clamps to hold the wrap in place long-term.
