Wilton?? Cast aluminum..
Right out of the package, this is disappointing. Wilton didn't even brand it or serialize it. Cast aluminum, poor finish, and the faces aren't even machined!

junk, Wilton was a good name.
Not a quality product. Good name, cheep knockoff fell apart after a day of use. I bought 4 clamps to weld square tubing frames.

It's MADE OF ALUMINUM!!! Try welding steel with workholding made of aluminum
I didn't know that Wilton actually would sell such crap. The Wilton catalog and website make no mention of the materials of construction and EVERYONE would assume it was cast and machined steel as the normal use is workholding for WELDING!!! I think Wilton should be ashamed for not disclosing the material of construction except in fine print on the package!!! Wow -Hey if you are gluing up, then it's fine until you over-tighten it and it cracks. How many ALUMINUM clamps do you OWN??? Back to expensive Bessey clamps
