I ordered two of these bags in the 38L smaller size to use alone, or with my two 20” Samsonite spinners, for my family of 4 (2 adults and 2 children). Together, it’s more than enough space for all of our travel belongings. I don’t like checking bags while flying and wanted to make sure the size would allow us to use them as carry-ons. As you can see from the picture it’s comparable in size to the 20” hardshell suitcase. It’s perfect, and the fact that it can be worn as a backpack is a game changer. I haven’t used it yet but after opening it up and seeing the organizing pockets, how light weight it is, the fact that I can wear it as a backpack and just the quality overall… I might be choosing this bag over my suitcase for shorter trips! I also think it’ll work great for our family camping trips. I was a little on the fence about going with the smaller size over the larger one and I’m glad I went with the smaller 38L. I wanted a backpack I could comfortably wear and as a 5’3” woman this is as big as I would go… It’s big! And the chest clip helps. The price for what you get, the quality, all of it… Honestly, it’s so worth it. Can’t believe this bag was just over $40 each. I’m so happy with it, and I’m picky! 😄👏

Needed a carryon that I could easily carry. This backpack fits the bill! Spacious, with handy mesh inside compartments, outside zipper compartments, padded straps, chest cincher, heavy-duty seams...the works! And it meets the usual size restrictions for overhead carryon luggage. Looks sturdy and easy to keep clean.
