are these discreet enough for day time? my lil bro Is thirteen and is incontinent during the day. He's pretty slim

My nine-year-old son wears these because he is incontinent. He has a  defect with his bladder  so he cannot do anything about it.   He wears  the large/extra large.   He wears them because when the waistband peaks up, it looks like regular underwear.  It is also much easier to change the absorbent pad rather then stripping down from the waist, changing a pull-up, and putting a new one on, all while being sort of secretive and hiding it so that other kids do not see.   He's not skinny. He is muscular. I don't know if that helps. The pads that come with it can be difficult to put in, even for me, so he  takes Poise overnight pads in long length and changes them once or twice during the day.  (He grabs one secretively from his backpack and shoves it inside of his shirt to run to the restroom at school. He has special permission from the teachers to use their private restroom.). Because they have adhesive, they are much easier to deal with rather than trying to put that insert into the underwear. Honestly, he wore pull-ups and I was always terrified somebody would see and make fun.  I actually sheltered him to his own detriment.  These things have actually given him a little more of a normal life, as silly and dramatic as that sounds.    I wash them and then hang them to dry. Because of the adhesive on the pads, I do have to replace them every few months. But that is so much better than worrying if somebody you love will be seen in  diaper  and be terrorized and mocked by other kids.    I really hope this helps you. I have found these things at Target, but honestly, Amazon gives you the best price and you can have the subscription.   By the way, I also have the Poise pads on subscription.  If you are worried about your brother, this will give him his best shot. I hope he does not need surgery like my son will. I hope it is simply something  that he outgrows. Question 2

Will the small size fit my 3 year old at only 30 lb? If not, any other options?  He is potty trained during the day and now refuses diapers at night.

My daughter was around 35lbs when we started using these. Unfortunately no stores nearby carry them. I think the smalls would fit at 30lbs these are better that the disposable pull ups because those have a much larger weight range and my 35 and 40lb kids swim in those.

Question 3

How much will the pads hold? My kid is a super soaker, and usually moves to my bed at some point each night, and I'm not keen on leakage in my bed...

If he a "super soaker" the pads/underwear will definitely leak.

My son is around 60lbs he’s 5 and a little chunky should I get the small/medium or large and extra large?

Get the large. These ran really small, in our opinion.
