I Love You Near and Far (Snuggle Time Stories, 4)

My husband has been stationed across the country from us for 1.5 years. My daughter was having a hard time understanding and dealing. She’s 2.5 years old and this book is now a favorite. It helped me put into perspective why she needed to enjoy daddy while he was home visiting and it’s helped her deal with him being gone. It’s a great book for military kids!

My 3 year old like this book a lot her dad deployed and one side grandparents are leaving far away and so that book help us with explanations and helped her to understand a bit more on what’s going on.

This book is so sweet. I gifted it to my nieces and nephew who live a journey away and the first time I got to read it was with them over video chat. I totally cried! Wish I would have ordered another copy for myself. Great for those in the military or family that live far away.

My husband read this to our granddaughter before he deployed. They are very close, and we believe it helped.

I was moving out of state and wanted to get this book for my niece and nephew that I was leaving behind. Wanted them to know that no matter how near or far I was moving to I will always love them very much. ❤️❤️

My fiance moved to our new home a few months before my kids and I will move. He recorded this book for them on our Sparkup book reader, so my kids can listen to him reading the book about how he loves them even though we are separated. This book is great because it can apply to a lot of situations - the father cat is in the military, but the book also shows the Grandma and other relatives that live far away.

This is a great story for those who live far from relatives or who happen to be separated for a temporary period. It is not overly sappy or depressing as some similar books geared toward military families can be. I work abroad and my mother bought this for my daughter when she was 1. She is now three and still really enjoys it. I have also bought several copies to give as gifts to other families who live abroad as my family does.

This is a great book for younger children. It helped my 6 year old a lot when dealing with his sadness over being away from his dad.

Grandson lives out of country. Great little book and way of putting distance all together.

Gave it to my nephew before I moved overseas, and it was well received. Definitely helps that I'm not the only family member who lives far away. 10/10 would gift again.
