Perfect fit for 2019 Volkswagon Jetta SEL
I have no idea why the ad says that this air filter won't fit a 2019 Jetta, but it's a perfect fit. I couldn't find this filter ANYWHERE, including at NAPA. The one that NAPA said fit my car was way too big. I definitely wasn't giving $40 to the VW dealer either for one of these.I suggest picking up a few for future changes. Great product!

Perfect fit for 2019 Jetta 1.4 turbo
Despite what Amazon says in their guidance, the description is correct. I replaced the air filter in my daughter's 2019 Jetta R-Line 1.4 turbo. It fits perfect. I did not count the pleats but side by side if there are fewer it cannot be many. The height, length and thickness were identical to the OE I replaced. It looks to be of like quality.My only issue is that it, like too many things these days, is it is made in China. Having said that, so were the options in the two auto parts chains, so I used this one.Installation is straight forward. I used a cordless ratchet with a T25 bit and extension and was done in five minutes.I would recommend and given that all the other options I found were imported, I would choose the EcoGard again. For the price delivered to my door it’s hard to beat. I only wish that we still made basic necessities in the USA. I took one star off for that. Should any issues develop I will update my review, but I don’t see any problems with the filter service or life.

It DOES fit a 2019 Jetta 1.4l
Even though Amazon Garage said this would not fit my 2019 VW Jetta S with the 1.4l engine, they're wrong. The vendor's description is correct. I took the risk based on another reviewer's comments, and very carefully compared the new filter and the one Volkswagen originally installed in my car. The XA11720 is a perfect replacement for VW's 5QM-129-620B , and about half the cost.

Even though Amazon does not say so, but it fits a 2019 VW Golf SE. The Mann C35 005 that is recommended for this vehicle is does not however.
