I have a 2024 Mustang GT convertible with Brembo brakes. It did not come with a spare because of the high-performance brakes. Ford said they do not make a spare that will fit the car. I found this on Amazon and ordered the kit. "Amazon Confirmed Fit" kept telling me the product would not fit my car. I crossed my fingers and ordered it anyway. It's not cheap, had to pay for shipping, etc. But when the spare arrived, I put it on the car, and it fit perfect. The quality of the rim and tire are outstanding. The rim looks like a factory black wheel, not a spare. The only problem I had was figuring out how to put it in the trunk. I ended up opening the jack and it all fell into place.

8/22/2025 - I ordered this spare tire for my 2023 Mustang GT after a tire went flat and the repair kit which came with the car instead of a spare tire could not fill my flat tire because the wheel had broken when I hit a large rock. I bought a Ford spare tire and the wheel rubbed on the brake caliper. I took a chance in ordering this spare tire. After I received the spare tire, I had a tire shop mount it on the front of my GT to make sure that the rim did not rub on the brake calipers; it did not rub, so I kept the tire. I have not used it.

GET ONE. This works great to solve the damn mini compressor that comes with your car.

It is not a cheap option, but you get what you pay for. Quality of the kit and components are great.

I like the spare tire very much. Even though the Ford Motor Company provides an emergency kit to inflate the flat tire in order for the car owner to be able to travel safely to auto service station to repair the tire, I am more comfortable having a spare tire that is already inflated. I have been driving with a spare tire for nearly fifty four years. With this spare tire, even though it is for a temporary purpose, I am more comfortable psychologically with it than I would be without it.

In my previous post I said that the spacer appeared to be defective. That is not the case. It is not defective. I misunderstood how to use it. It bolts to the car first, and then the spare bolts to it. Seems obvious now. On the other hand, it doesn't come with any directions.
