Real, heavy, solid wood!
I took a chance at this with only 1 review and WOW, I'm SO glad I did!! This is REAL, solid, heavy wood!! Super sturdy, durable and the color is perfect! It's between a dark walnut and espresso color which is exactly what I was looking for. Cant beat the price! It comes with 3 boards which are all the same size. Easy to install, just make sure u measure the holes perfectly. Perhaps having a second person to help may make it easier, but it can certainly be done alone, like I did. Tip: it may seem like the pegs wont fit onto the boards once hung up, just keep trying especially if you know you measured correctly. The top board I had to maneuver a bit before it slide onto the pegs. It's not loose at all once hung up so theres no fear of it ever slides off, even if theres an earthquake, it's not going anywhere! Cant wait to decorate it! One board had a very slight chip (see pic) but it was on the side of the board that goes against the wall, so I didnt take any points off for that. 1000/10 would recommend!! Looking for more places I can put shelves so I can buy more!

Update 03/26/2021: I finally got the shelves up! Guess what folks? They look even better when installed! -Now for the rest of the wall...- - - - - - - - - - - -The look is simply beautiful! The shelves are not that heavy solid wood type ( has more of a balsa wood weight) so lighter & better than what was expected. Did I mention, they're beautiful?The shelves are true to measurements and perfect for any configuration you decide to do. Hardware included an extra screw set in case you have that "oops" moment or lose one.I still haven't figured out what arrangement I will use for the shelves on that be tiny guest bath wall, but the shelves are definitely 5 stars at this point. This post will update once the shelves are installed.

No joke, these are real, heavy, actual wood
These shelves are HEAVY. If you're anything like me, you're buying these because they are cheap and simple, thinking you can just throw them on a wall and can it a day.No. No shortcuts, here. You WILL need to find studs. You will need proper tools. These are great shelves, almost too great. Don't buy these expecting cheap, light, partical board. These are solid wood.

You can do better than this set
They were a giant pain to install. It looked simple enough, but then it wasn't and we're somewhat handy. They look ok, but we won't put anything particularly heavy on them. They are place over the head of a bed in a guestroom so we aren't too concerned, and after finally getting them up, we weren't about to take them down and return them. You can find better with a different install style at a similar price point.

Great shelves for light objects
The value of these shelves is much better than other packages where you only get two shelves. The pattern looks weathered and aged, just like I wanted it to. The wood isn't really solid, but it's more sturdy than the hollow, MDF type shelves that I have seen elsewhere. The brackets are not sized in a way that you can fit both holes in a stud, but anchoring one hole in drywall and the other hole in a stud was plenty sturdy enough for what I wanted them for. I would never put anything really heavy on the shelves, but for my use, they are only decorative. Measure appropriately and make sure everything is level and installation is easy.

Cheap!!!
I was really excited about getting these for our bathroom. From the picture it looked nice and reviews were good. We got them and we could tell right away there were cheap. The wood is light weight and boards were warped. We decided to put them up anyway just to see how it would look. Bad idea!! The wall anchors were fine and easy to put up. Once we put the wood up we could tell it was not level even though the wall anchors were. The board is warped. One bowing in the middle, flipped it and now it looks like the shelf is leaning forward. Same with the others. The fit is also loose so it almost is flush to the wall, but it all looks like things are going to slide off since the wood is not flat. 2 stars, one for easy installation and the other for the look. It's pretty, but cheap!

Good value for the price.
The shelves are sturdy and the finish on the wood is nice. The mounting system is good but it has a few issues. One of the pins/rods on the mount popped off when we started installing it. I was able to fix it with some modifications. I used my on mounts for the wall since the drywall anchors did not want to drill into or hold in my sheetrock. However, it is very hard sheetrock, and have always had to use the higher-end mounting kits. We are using these to hold up Gunpla models.

LOVE THEM!!!
I absolutely loved them! I was going to DIY this project but it would of been a hassle to do I’m glad I bought these instead. They are very sturdy and easy to install.
